Dat is wut I thought before, until I realized I could remote desktop my server, turn my phone into a SSHD server, an apache webserver, emulators, yes emulators are on the app store for Android phones, genesis, snes, nes, gameboy. All completely legal.

You can even tether your phone for internet.(App store)

Thanks google!

When it would cost me twice as much a month for a family plan, I don't particularly care. I'll stick to my $40 a month voice only family plan.

I have a really simple phone. It can call and text. That's all I need. Everything else is a waste of money. I'd suggest getting a simple phone.

It's better than Blackberry and Iphone, although not sure what it's like compared to the Motorola Droid as I don;t know anyone with it. Worth a punt if its a good price.

The Palm Pre is the best phone I have owned and is very productive. You could do everything much faster on a Pre compared to something like the Iphone. It has the same hardware as the Droid but with an included 8GB of memory and the Droid is only on Verizon where the plans are really expensive compared to Sprint. Check out some videos.
