While several other teens played video games in a bedroom, Young produced a gun, loaded a single round into the weapon’s chamber, spun the cylinder, and held the gun against his temple. When he fired the gun, it launched the sole bullet into his head. The wound was fatal.

Could be stupidity, could be alcohol, or it could be just a lavish way to commit suicide. Seeing how the article hasn't said anything about the possibility of alcohol involvement, and considering that I'm having a hard time believing in the stupidity alone rationale, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of suicide.

Yeah, but then why spin the cylinder on the gun? If the intent was to commit suicide, then that would just make him look like a dumbass if he pulled the trigger and nothing happened.

Anyway, aside from this kid just being an idiot, what kind of piece of shit do you have to be to commit suicide in someone else's house while other people are present? That's not just stupid, that's such a dick move that I wouldn't be surprised if no one shows up at this kid's funeral.
