I just rediscovered my camera, it's a sony and will do the job since it's pretty high quality. I also have windows movie maker, and have edited a few videos and created some good ones.

I know it's nothing special, but I'm really interested in this stuff, so I want to know how to get the best quality from uploading vids to my laptop. As of now, it comes with Pixela ImageMixer V. 1.0, and i can record it off the camera in MPEG form. Is MPEG the best format, or is avi better? Are there better ways to get videos onto the computer from my camera? ANYTHING else to help as I am new to all this crap.

Thanks!!!
