I think all three of those were second-tier HBO shows anyway, I'm not really going to miss them

HBO shows are expensive. If they don't get really good rating, they typically won't last long.

Of the three, I had only ever watched "Bored to Death", but just season one and some of season two. Really don't care that any of them got cancelled, especially if it means more focus/money on "Boardwalk Empire" and "Game of Thrones".

Real shame, How to Make it in America was actually really good. Was looking forward to another season.

As for the other two, Hung was lame and didn't get to see Bored to Death.

The way the second season ended you're going to be pissed, because there was so much potential.

How to Make it in America pictured New York and pop-culture better than any other show nowadays.

People need to give it a chance instead comparing to Entourage because it's really not as shallow. Also, they had the best intro on T.V. Real shame it had to go.

That too. Ugh, I'm so mad they ended it because the show could gone in any direction.

No doubt man. They got their jeans going and everything. I wanted to see them succeed! Now I just have to imagine it I guess... The 2 seasons will have to do for the rest of my life.

I didn't get to follow any of those, but I'm still scratching my head as to why the SyFy channel cancelled every sci-fi show on the network... Oo

Bored to Death is the one I'll be missing dearly. Season 3 hasn't shown in Australia so I'll make sure to consume it with more gratitude.

Hung and Bored to Death were good and had lots of potential, that's sad, but I guess ratings were horrible, I think they were making a big mistake though not having these shows have hour long episodes, and they needed like twice the episodes per season.

Boxing is the primary reason why I pay for the premium channels. Shows like Boardwalk Empire are icing on the cake.

They weren't up to HBO standards, let's be honest. You can normally buy any DVD box set with 'HBO' on it and be assured that the contents are amazing. Six Feet Under, Sopranos, the Wire, the Corner, Generation Kill, Game of Thrones.

HBO never seems to nail the comedies, at least in my eyes. The drama/miniseries/movie department is top notch, but I have never really enjoyed any of the comedy offerings.

I have HBO, and I do not really watch those shows.

Than again, I have not really watched any shows on HBO since Big Love. Not even Broadwalk Empire. Mostly just old/retro movies on HBO Go.
