Have you ever won anything?

Sweepstakes, instant winner, lottery, scratch off ticket, 50/50 drawing, etc? What was the most you ever won at one time?

I hit $40 on a $1 scratch off already. While it's not a lot of money, it's damn good ratio for the amount of the ticket.

When I was younger my grandfather put my name in for some kind of horse race and it ended up winning. So, I got $50 just for being me. :D

I also won $50 in a drawing at a company Christmas party for singing karaoke. Good times.

When I was a kid I won an astronomy book on my visit to the planetarium,everybody got a number and mine was selected ...and that's it =P

The most I ever won from the scratch offs was either a dollar or two or free ticket.
I did win a huge honey baked ham for Christmas about 25 years ago. It was delicious.

I played a free weekly fantasy football competition on a betting website one year. You "purchase" players for the week and win awards if you score the most points in a week. I actually won one week and received one of those iMassage chairs. Things was worth like 1000 bucks, so that was pretty awesome.

When I was around 14 or 15 I won a Blockbuster video game contest in Atlanta playing a modified Donkey Kong Country cartridge. I ended up winning two free game rentals every month for a year. I didn't go to the regional championship.

i think the first thing i won was "gold-1st place" at punt, pass and kick. trophy included!

I one a handwriting comp in middle school, and I dominated 100-200m in athletics while in school. I've one bits an bobs on sratchies no major wins though.

Oh yeh and I won the heart of my lady, cue gag reflex lol

Ford flew me and seven other guys to Key West Fl to be behind the scenes of the first Focus ST commercial.

I won several matches of old school free-for-all in Call of Duty 4 a few days back. Felt great owning a bunch of people several times.

Everytime we go home to Nevada, the wife and I frequent a couple of restaurant/hotel/casinos nearby. Once in a while, I'd win $75 here, $50 there on the nickel slots. Really though, I'm just there for the free drinks.

I got an 100$ reward back in high school for responsibility and autonomy. Guess the teachers liked me.

I got 3rd place at a debate tournament in high school. Even though it was 3rd place, it was only my second or third debate tournament, and it felt great because me and my partner put a ton of effort into the research topic, and our plan was really really good.
