I never have and probably never will.
I have clicked on ads accidentally, but always proceed to exit out of the page.

I have for a few companies I trust.
"Oh! GOG has title X on sale for less than a buck!"
Oh I get those, as well. Saw some interesting recommendations based upon my purchases.
Yeah, sometimes I wonder to myself how YouTube, and the internet in general, makes so much money out of advertising. I've never clicked on a single one, unless by accident, never bought anything influenced by them and can barely remember any product they're trying to sell me. The few times I pay attention to them is because what they are trying to sell me is completely absurd.
No. I use uBlock Origin, so most of the time my answer is "what ads?" And when I do tap on ads on my phone, it is 100% by accident.
In fact, I can't recall a standalone ad ever influencing my purchase decisions, and as for embedded sponsorship in YouTube videos, I can't recall any time I ever went further than "I'll think about it."
On random YouTube ads? No
But sometimes I get ads based on my search history. Like shoe sale ads when I had looked up a decent shoe store in the area. Those I check out.
I have a habit of clicking on ads on FB if the product looks interesting. Sometimes I end up buying it, but later, after having done research. A lot of times I find a better offer elsewhere and I buy a product I wouldn't have otherwise heard of.
never. though, i think it's mostly about planting a little seed in your head rather than you actually clicking it.
No, and worse is ad services don't vet ads so there's a chance a seemingly trustworthy ad banner could be a spoofed ad.
I find it funny that YouTube will remove videos that get removed if users attempt to re-upload. Yet advertisers running scam ads circumvent their scam ads being removed and continue to run them by simply switching up the company account running the ads. They're whores for ad revenues and they take them wherever they can get then. They'll even let ads run on pages with malicious scripts in them.
I did it ounce. It was for a brand of shoe that I always buy and I needed a new pair of shoes at the time.
Yeah. Temu and some ad claiming a super powered monoscope. Which were complete trash. I did get a cool mask from Temu though.
There are some sites I like, and I will open some extra sandboxed browser in a VM to visit them and then click a bunch of ads to support them once in a while.
I have blocked third party sites and cookies for legitimate concerns of browser security, and typically that means I don't even see ads, or at least I think I don't, because I ignore them by default. (That's also why I use a separate sandboxed browser in a VM to click on them)
Aside from that, no. And I wonder if ads even work. Maybe there are nontraditional ads that work, such as phony reviews, "news" of some product discounts, or trailers of something you're already interested in. But typical banners and other stuff like that, I don't even know if they register for me. If I try and think of what one looks like, or a product from one, then I can't come up with anything.
I've never found myself clicking on an ad to make a purchase. Typically, I prefer to navigate independently through product options and make decisions based on exploration rather than relying on advertisements. It's a bit like exploring the diverse offerings of uaesafari – discovering things on my own terms is more appealing.
