Has a question been asked a thousand times before? So what?

If someone posts a question about something that might have been posted several times alreadyby other uses, that is NOT a good reason for them not to ask it. You cannot expect every person to trawl through each board and thread to find answers to questions that might not even be relevant to their own. Nor does the search tool function as many users create topics with irrelevant headings. And ultimately, it doesn't enter the heads of most users that their question may have been asked before because to them its a completely new idea that doesn't conform with popular debate or even exist in reality yet.

In short, who cares if its been asked before anyway? Is it really so annoying to see the same question appear a few times? Do you not have other things to think about in your lives?

If you want to ask a question, you should be able to do so without being flamed. So go ahead and ask them and the good souls will respond.

If someone asks something that was asked a couple of weeks ago = I don't care If someone asks something that was asked the day before...and the day before, then its annoying, especially when the thread is only on the second/third pageOverlord93

exactly. if you just LOOK at the threads first BEFORE you ask a question, u can avoid duplicating a RECENT question. If it has been over a week, then its no big deal.

I don't mind it at all, unless there's a similar thread on the same page or a few pages back. Even so, it doesn't matter that much.

It depends. If it's identical to threads we get like every day (like religion) it's annoying.

But if it same old questions to which answers are obvious then no point in asking them. Better google and find answers
