Here in the US we celebrate our independence on July 4th. I'm going to be celebrating with a nice run, a few beers, and my grill. Happy Independence day to you all!

To celebrate me and some friends have acquired 370lb of fireworks. We will explode the sky! Maybe launch some flaming xmas trees into the air! It's a tradition, really. I am not exaggerating either, we launch flaming trees into the air, and we do have 370lb of explosives.

I should bookmark this since some people on this forum have such trouble with this concept: America being the greatest I mean.

Also: happy 4th, everyone!

The actual land is older than that though.

Yes, on the most American day of the year we light off Chinese fireworks sold in Native American ghettos, we then (rather ironically) celebrate our independence from the British year round with...

I bought this 'smoke grenade' that was really lame, and now I'm interested in finding a military surplus store to buy a real smoke grenade, because I'm sure that won't be disappointing lol.

LOL

Also, independence Day was a terrible movie save for a few scenes, though those few scenes are highly iconic, like the President's speech and when the aliens vaporize the building where those people are trying to "greet" the aliens.

Where do you live that surplus stores sell military munitions to civilians?

That was supposed to be a joke, and a bad one.

Also love how I no longer get email notifications for people mentioning me in a comment.

We had fun celebrating 4th of July at my (in-law) cousin's home. Noisy. Simply too noisy. I would've preferred a quieter celebration (just me n a six-pack) at the lakeside cottage. But, I owed the wife.

Anyway...... it's late. But.....

Happy 4th.
