Thanks bro for the happy Father's day post. Sorry to hear about your dad passed away but yes, he will always be with you.
Thank You.
@ianhh6: Na it wouldn't. Any other ideas?
Uhhh: power tools, a nice, expensive pen (if he has a job requiring writing a lot), headphones, any cooking tool if he cooks, a cool shirt or something clothes-related he may like, a pipe or something if he smokes, any books he might be interested in...
I know the feeling of not knowing what to buy, you know him better than I do :P
Well both of my mom and dad died, miss em both very much.
I didn't know that Indz, so sorry to hear it. If it's any consolation you have lots of people here who care for you and were missing you when you disappeared for a month =D

Thank you so much for your kind words @brimmul777. and Likewise for you my freind :)
@korvus: My daughter gave me a father's day gift card with a Flower pluck from the ground. She's like flowers. So far, not going out today, just catching up on all the highlights from E3 and coming to GS to see how is everyone doing today.
You have a very happy family. I'm so proud about you :)
What a nice surprise for Father's Day! My brother and his family and friends, especially my uncle, came over to our house today, and we had a great dinner: steak, chicken, rice, potatoes and salad. Such a wonderful meal on Father's Day!
Hah, while everyone was giving gifts to their fathers. I was philosophizing with my father about the wisdom behind the name ''Allah''. I don't think he wants a car from me, or a house, or something else. When I was a kid, I used to get pissed when my father would get angry over every little thing. There was always a 'tremble' in his angry voice.
As I wised up, I understood where that tremble came from. A man who feared God not because of himself, but for the vices of the society. When all the medications that would come to the hospital were contaminated, and even the police won't do anything. He felt helpless. He saw his patients die because of that. He couldn't do anything. What else could a doctor living in the third world whose father was a woodcutter do anyway. Apart from screaming his lungs out in the hospital. Broken and beaten down time to time, no one ever listened to him. I understand that 'tremble' now. And the best gift I can give to him is to take the beacon from his hands and keep fighting till the end of my road. And I will certainly see it to the end.
@gwynnblade: I'm not a religious person but I think that's very sweet and I'm sure he's grateful that his son would do that for him.
@korvus: Well, I could literally see the sparkle in his eyes when he saw his 17 year old son catching up to him in Philosophy. Thanks for your kind words sir.
@gwynnblade: You are very welcome; good parents should never be taken for granted; mine only brought about pain and suffering for everyone around them...people who have decent parents should do their best to honour them. All my father ever taught me was fear and hatred, yours seems to have taught you passion and compassion so i'm glad you're following on his footsteps.
