Guns n Roses or Metallica?

I think Guns N Roses is way better than Metallica.

I refuse to call them Guns N' Roses. A friend of mine only refers to them as Axl & Friends. :P

GN'R wins.

I personally think "New-GN'R" or "Axl and Friends" as you folk like to call em' kick ass.

May I ask why you think so? GN'R in many people's minds aren't very "recognized" today, but they were incredible in the late 80's and early 90's. Perhaps you don't like them, but it's something pretty severe to call them trash. And especially when you compare them to the Jonas Brothers. :|

I don't like their music, and there were much better bands during the 80's and 90's. All of which are way better than GNR.

Anyway, Gun's and roses have three, at tops must have albums.

Metallica has five. In my opinon, at the least.

Metallica wins baby.

You can't even compare the two. Metallica was a thrash metal band. Guns N Roses was a hard rock band.

But if I must...Metallica. Metallica released four albums of extremely high quality, and each one had a huge influence on metal. Plus they made a great "commercial thrash" album, proving that such a thing was even possible. Guns N Roses by contrast had one awesome debut, and an ambitious but ultimately inferior follow up.

Hmm, James Hetfield, Axl Rose, James Hetfield, Axl Rose- In other words, Pointless Emphasis on useless lyrics vs true talent- a six octave vocal range. the choice is clear in my eyes.

guns n roses, although it isnt hard to be better than metallica. metallica is a whole lot of fail.

They may of not had alot of CD's come out when they were still in the original line up but they were all great. Plus from what I have heard from Chinese Democracy it is going to be good(But Not Appetite For Destruction Good)

That being said I still like Metallica. They are not my favorite band but I have their Ride The Lightning CD and it is good. GNR better though

Pretty hard decision for me, as I really don't like either of them at all.

I'll go with Guns N' Roses because there are very brief moments in some of their songs when I don't think they're absolutely terrible.
