What was the first song you really learned to play?

Don't feel bad. I'm still trying to play chords without looking at the fretboard for almost every change.

I'm working on "Dream On" by Aerosmith right now. I'm not a fast learner with a guitar.

im still learning. though i cant read music so im using tabs.

the spanish ballad (or romance as some call it) but i play classical which there seems to be a suprisingly low amount of.

Horse With No Name by America, Free Fallin' by Tom Petty, or You and Me by Lifehouse. I don't really remember which one I could play first.

I'm working on a bunch of songs at the moment. Just the main riffs that's all.

On the eletric it was Black Magic, and obviously not up to speed. Now I can play it faster than the studio recording. I knew other folk tunes and stuff on the classical guitar first though.

From what I remember it was TNT by ACDC. For whatever reason, last year I got like 2x better than I ever was and I'm still improving. Maybe by the time I am 50 I will have some serious shredding skills, who knows.

I'm pretty sure it was Blind - Korn, but it might of been Madman - Silverchair.

I used to love that song! I'm still working on Dream On, since I was out of town without my guitar for over 2 weeks. However, I've gotten about 60-70% of Collide by Howie Day down in the last 2 days. Feeling pretty good about that one. It's simple, which is what I need right now.

Cemetary Gates - Pantera. Of course not the whole song like I've stated, but I sure as hell love the clean guitar parts and have most of the rhythm down. Dimebag Squeals = best ever. I can't do them :( It's the Evile cover, not that it's better than Panteras, but I love the clean guitar sound over the acoustic.
