Well theres Judas Priest, Saxon, Early Metallica, Slayer, Amon Amarth, Dio, and Iced Earth. Theres tons of other metal bands you can check out but I lean more towards the old school stuff but the other metal genres are pretty good. Expand your metal taste.

I really like Finntroll. Also some other good bands are Kalmah, 3 inches of blood, Arch Enemy, Korpiklaani, Cattle Decapitation, Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Drudkh, Melechesh and Nile. There are many other good bands I really like but i dont want to post them all.
