Tomorrow I am getting my first full-grown molar pulled, due to a bad chip that was caused by a baseball. It is the farthest one back on the left side of my mouth. I was just wondering, for those of you that have had a molar pulled, how bad is it during the procedure and afterwards? Thanks for the advice.

Molars = bad

Alot of bleeding and soreness but the actual procedure is ok but very very numbed up. I had incisors pulled out (baby teeth) and my nose and mouth was numbed up and i couldn't talk O_O

you don't feel a thing. I've had eight teeth removed over the years (2, then 2, then 4) so I can tell from experience that it doesn't hurt one bit. The injections they give you are uncomfortable but that's it. However if they are adult teeth they will bleed for a long time, just swill warm salt water every hour or so.

getting a normal tooth is nothing youll feel like 3 seconds of pinching from when then freeze your mouth, then it just sounds and feels VERY weird when you hear the tooth breaking and comming loose from your jaw. wisdom teeth on the otherhand is like a week of pain

Never had that, but i can predict this:
You will die because of the pain.
get a shot, then you won't feel anything and people can laugh when you drink.

I've had seven teeth pulled all together. Pain is not much of an issue; eating is. Also, the general anesthesia makes you very ill afterwards, though also makes it very easy to sleep. I advise you go home, pop some painkillers or Advil or whatever is legal and just sleep as long as you possibly can. Eating is the most frustrating part of the process, though, the severely limited diet is tormenting.

As long as you get it frozen, you won't feel much while it's happening. It's the fact that your moth will be sore for the next couple days, and you won't be able to eat on that side of your mouth for a while.

I had to get a molar taken out when I was younger, and from what I remember it wasn't too bad. They'll give you plenty of painkillers.

I had 6 teeth pulled in one procedure before. They numb it and you hardly feel a thing. It'll probably be soar and feel weird afterwards though.
