Now then before we begin, this is not one of those illegal gambling talk mind you, in this thread, do you like to gamble? Have a gambling problem? Are you afraid that you'll be addicted to gambling? So OT, do you go to slots machines or something like that? I don't personally gamble and if I do, it will be only Lottery tickets or scratch off tickets for me and I never ever bother with slots machines, I'm scare that I might get addicted those things.

Gambling was a bit of fun with Poker like 7 years ago but now even poker is boring.

I think that because I understood games and multiplayer games are so good that gambling make no sense at all.

I don't gamble...just not appealing to me. I know people who have thrown away 1000's of dollars in Vegas and it just blows my mind. Granted, they had fun which is fine...but for 1000's of dollars I could take the family to Europe/Mexico/Caribbean/etc for a week and have the time of my life.

I've played poker occasionally with some friends and a bit of money, and I don't see the harm in occasionally buying a lottery ticket, but I haven't yet set foot in a casino. I don't really like games with negative expected returns.

You can win at games like video poker and black jack, but I still don't gamble. I see it as a waste of money and I don't get the "thrill".

I have never had the urge to gamble, thankfully.

Stop with the scratch offs. You're better off putting that money in a Roth IRA for your daughter.

Oh don't worry, I rarely do any scratch offs these days and when I do feel like it, I only pay $5 and below.

Never gambled. Don't see the appeal. Rather work for my money than throwing it away in the hopes of easy returns.

Just like Strip Clubs, I have buyers remorse after gambling. If I'm in Vegas with family or something, I might spend an evening at the Blackjack tables, but I always regret it afterwards. Outside of those very rare trips, I don't engage in gambling in any form, including the Lottery.

I buy the odd lottery ticket but as far as gambling machines and casinos goes, I am not willing to take the risk.

Gambling is one of the stupidest things you can do. You're literally throwing away your money just so that you'll get a small fraction of it back if you're lucky.

No and I hate gambling because my mom does it when she doesn't get what she wants. I feel like she could put us on the street at times.

I play the quarter slots from time to time, though the thing I prefer about the the casino - or "cas" as chaoscougar calls it - is the restaurants, like the buffet, not the gambling.

I play poker with my friends every now and then (used to do it way more when I was younger) and it's a great time. We don't put a ton of money on each game, usually around $20 buy in, but it's enough to keep the game interesting. Other than that I don't really gamble besides the one time I went to the dog tracks and lost like 30 bucks. Won't be going back anytime soon. I'm not old enough to get into casinos around here, but when I am I can't imagine I'd enjoy spending a lot of money there.

@davillain-: I remember that one-time gamble with a clunky slot machine 4 years ago...was at Vegas at the time and my age was a qualifying 18..to no luck,I win nothing but alcoholic breath outside..it wasted much of my time and money,so I moved on to watching a stripper next building,I don't pay her either to enjoy her showcase.

Nope, not even scratch cards or lottery tickets. When I was about 12 I put 10p in a slot machine and got £4 out, that's the only time really. Just see it as wasting money as you're unlikely to come out on top in the long run.

I was spending roughly $10 to $40 a month for a couple months, but then give up because the best I ever won was the same amount I put in. I have a bit of a healthy obsession with getting rich so that I can live my biggest dream of not having to work at anything for the rest of my life, but yeah the odds of winning lottery are abysmal.

Never gambled and never will. Sounds moronic to me. I find it strange that some get addicted.

i do gamble. quite a lot.

but i wouldn't really call it an addiction.

gambling makes it more fun and competitive when something is on the line.

i don't gamble at casinos, i've been many times with friends. but just can't seem to spend hundreds on a table. But i can spend thousands on sports betting. lol.

I very rarely gamble. Really the only time I do is on NHL hockey with those sports ticket things which I haven't even done in a few years now.

I'm very good at playing craps. I almost always leave the casino with extra money in my pocket. I rarely play the slots anymore.
