Fred Phelps excommunicated, dying

All I have to say is that I hope no one pickets his funeral. It seems inevitable people are going to want to, but seeing people stoop to his level would really be pretty ugly.

As far as his excommunication, the source (one of his estranged son's) is unclear:

“I only have hearsay on the reason, and two different versions, so I won’t comment at this point, other than to say he was moved into another house and watched over so he wouldn't harm himself."

So perhaps some form of delirium?
