Unfortunately, for Americans we won't get a great glimpse of it; however, Europe should have a decent view.

What time EST North American time will it occur? Sometimes even in the morning, the moon is still out for some reason. That would make it all the more sweet to see it.

Nevermind, it's at like 3 pm EST. I'll wait for the August 27th one that actually occurs at a reasonable North American time

I saw one maybe eight or so years ago, and I remember it wasn't terribly impressive. Now a solar eclipse is something I would like to see.

i'm not sure if it will. but europe and africa will have the best views. as for the US we can see it somewhat, if we have a good view of the moon considering the daylight. it will be in the middle of the day, but it's a nearly full moon, so it may show up if we're lucky.

OOOH a large rock goes in front of the sun I need to take pictures!!!!!! Pfff....

I wouldn't get to see it even if it was over the US... it's supposed to snow tomorrow :( clouds = no seeing pretty sky :cry:
