Christmas.

only time of year when we spend lots of time together as a family.

we bake cookies, make buckeyes, homemade chex mix, listen to christmas music, put up the cristmas tree, and just overall have a good time.

I guess Christmas, I don't really follow much of the other holidays.

does summer vacation count? lol

i find the "official" ones annoying, because i don't like the presupposed obligations that come along with them. though it is nice to see the family all togther, i'll admit. halloween is fun too; i like seeing what kind of costumes people wear

I LOVE CHRISTMAS. I'm not religious at all but I totally embrace the baby Jesus story as a STORY for this holiday. Especially the way Linus tells it. I would put a manger in my house, I don't care. But Santa is more Christmas to me than Jesus. EVERYBODY I work with knows I love christmas so much, they make fun of me for it. I've already told my manager I'll be decked out in holiday garb in every way I can that doesn't break dress code come November 12th. I love the holidays because they bring back childhood, when everything was less difficult. I love the baking, the gift giving, the food, the traditions, santa, the tree... Having a Groundhog Day-esque experience around the 22nd of december would make my LIFE. Perpetual good cheer. I got pinterest for holiday ideas. I can't wait to have my own house, it's going to be decked out from corner to corner. Being excited for the holidays is one of the ways I keep my depression in check and wanting to kill myself at bay. Sad, but true.

CHRISTMAS. I love everything about it. The weather, the food, the smells, the music, etc etc. LOVE IT.

Halloween is second, or maybe birthdays...

I always enjoy Christmas, and Thanksgiving. I get to see my family around that time, and great food!

Easter for religious reasons. I just happen to be of the sort to believe that the dead son of a virgin rose from the grave on that day. I like to celebrate with my church family.

cinco de mayo. its the day when people who care nothing for mexico's national history don sombreros and settle on whatever excuse they can to drink.

Halloween has always been my favorite. Even if it is but a shadow of it's former self these days, I doubt that will ever change.
#19 Posted by dragonfly110 (27075 posts) -

Probably Christmas, just because of the tree and decorations.

I also love carving Pumpkins so I'd have to place Halloween in second, and of course New Years Eve gets third because everyone loves a good party.

Damn, sadly my DW pics are limited...I could play around with the color values in photoshop, but that requires too much effort this late at night.

I only require 3 things to live.

1. My Gerbil

2. Netflix

3, excuses.

Yes, she thought it was a massive snake that was attacking her. Only one part of that statement is false.

That would certainly explain why you were trying to have my gerbil destroy it.

Gerbils deserve your respect, and you shall give it to yours.

Also Halloween's pretty cool. And Christmas. And Thanksgiving.
