For all of you Disney fans out there, here's a nice topic. Who is your favorite Disney Princess or Heroine? My favorite is Mulan because she's a soldier and a warrior. I also like how she defies tradition and goes her own way. I also like Tiana, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Esmeralda, Meg, and Kida

My favorite princess is Yao 'cuz he's so bishie.

Don't have a favorite princess but if I were to choose I'd pick Mulan as well. The others are too girly.

Rapunzel, simply because Tangled was an awesome film.

From what I've seen (which is most of the movies from the 90s and earlier), I'd say it's Mulan. Have not yet seen Tangled or Frozen though.

I guess my favorite is the princess from Brave.

#7 Posted by SaintLeonidas (25293 posts) -

She was a queen for most of the film, but Elsa from Frozen was pretty awesome.

I was a huge Aladdin mark back in the 90s so Jasmine for me. I also liked Tiana as well.

Merida (3D CGI characters are Disney Princesses now?) I guess.

Was always attracted to Ariel as a younger boy. Dat clamshell bra.

that one that changed everything about herself so she would appeal to a man.

oh wait, that was all of them.

Well, you have clearly never actually seen any of the films in question.

I'd leave my wife for Jasmine...

oh lighten up it's just a joke.

and anyway those movies are always promoting some god awful message to little girls like sit on your ass and eat shyt from your in laws and the world will hand you free shyt (cinderella) or if you have a scary boyfriend that almost slaps you around he's really a great guy and only hurts you because he loves you, (beauty and the beast).

so fair or not i'm ridiculing that shyt because to me it's funny.

The Disney Pocahontas did not do that.

My choice is Mulan, too. She is good in her film and Kingdom Hearts.

Mulan can kickbutt.......... and the rest is damsel in distress .... especially slepping beauty

Merrida is the only Disney Princess who is actually cool IMO.

She is a badass with a bow and actually has her own personality.

Mulan.

Alice in Wonderland
Not a princess but <3

I think my favourite is Belle. Tough choice.

#21 Posted by GazaAli (21482 posts) -

Pocahontas cuz she has substance.

Princess Eilonwy and Princess Tiger Lilly, because no one ever thinks of them.

Merida is boss.

@johnd13: mulan deserves it's credit

the thought "which princess is my favorite" has never been proposed in the space between my ears. i like disney movies, they are good stuff. as far as which of the characters i perfer.... as a youngling, i must admit i did have a few unavoidable stray thoughts linger on pocahontas because... reasons.

this image weirds me out a bit. i dont think i have ever seen something i know as fantasy to be so realized as true.

She was a queen for most of the film, but Elsa from Frozen was pretty awesome.

She definitely has one of the best songs/scenes in Disney movies (having just watched Frozen).

#26 Posted by 4myAmuzumament (1329 posts) -

Simba's girlfriend, Whatsherface.

#27 Posted by PinkiePirate (2066 posts) -

Rapunzel from Tangled. ^_^

#28 Posted by cain006 (8625 posts) -

Elsa from Frozen. I wish that she had way more screen time, she was way more interesting than Anna.

I like many of them equally, but Jasmine is one of my most favorite.

The others being too girly is a good thing, I think that is the whole point.

She has fish parts...

I'd leave my wife for Jasmine...

If I recall, she has an account here. I am just saying.

'Let it Go'? I think visually, that is up there with the 'Beauty and the Beast' ballroom scene as my favorite scenes from any Disney film.

Alice, actually my fav Disney movie. I remember it being so wacky when I was like 4.

Yeah of course I meant Let It Go. :P

Although "Do You Want To Build A Snowman" has really grown on me as well.

Going with Elsa as well. I like her powers and she's one of my favourite Disney characters in awhile.

#37 Edited by Omni-Slash (54404 posts) -

Oh god no ...frozen had some of t h e worse music in a Disney movie..the opening instrumental piece a nd do you want to build a snowman were the only good songs...the rest sound like American idol covers of Katy Perry crap...

#38 Posted by Judas_ (278 posts) -

That blonde princess....................

#39 Posted by sukraj (20600 posts) -

cinderella

#40 Edited by Detroit222 (5225 posts) -

Elsa or Anna from Frozen, simply because they DIDN'T change for the guy and SPOILER ALERT didn't need guy to save them.

But I've always preferred the Disney female villains to the heroines. Looking forward to Maleficent. She was always my personal favorite. And Queen Narissa (Enchanted) was HOT!

I thought she was really lame. They seemed to be going for badass princess way too hard. That and the overall movie wasn't very good. I think Elsa is way better.

#42 Posted by benleslie5 (7575 posts) -

Elsa- Frozen, but I also like Belle from Beauty and the Beast she just reminds of Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite

Where I do agree with you there (Tangled had five ((good)) songs? Frozen had twelve??), Let It Go was still pretty amazing! Come ooon, don't you think just a little??

Favorites are between Mulan and Merida. Though Brave was somewhat disappointing to me, her character wasn't.

I found this and thought it was funny:

#44 Posted by Evil_Saluki (4833 posts) -

Cinderella, for having hips like Cinderella.

#45 Posted by sammyjenkis898 (27837 posts) -

Elsa. She seemed stronger than any of the others.

#46 Posted by DharmaMember77 (2377 posts) -

It's a split between Wendy from Peter Pan and Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Alot of it has to do with how great of a voice actress Kathryn Beaumont was but also the two of them were more like real girls than any of the other Disney heroines.

The donkey from Shrek.
