Which is series in your opinion is the better?

No, DBZ is done. I like Naruto better, and I know I will be flamed for that.

But the manga is awesome (no fillers, huh?)...

i have never witnessed a mature anime that wasnt geare dtowards 7-10 year olds like Naruto and DBZ obviously are. And even the ones that try to be mature end up being childish because its a freakin cartoon or comic book,.

yeah i just hate anime now, used to be a big DBZ fan back in the day when you're suposed to like anime, but i would feel silly if i watched anime or read manga now, and naruto is so bad, my brother tried watching it, they explain to the viewers what they're about to do before they actually do it, far too much talking and waiting. same with DBZ

Not all anime falls under the shonen genre

Plus, shonen is directly intended for young boys, so of course you're going to assume that you grew out of what you've seen from it, but not all anime is shonen, and not all anime is intended for just young boys. And is there anything else that you've watched besides DBZ that isn't shonen?

Naruto is muc better, and for people complaining aout the fillers, just do what I did: go on wikipedia and type in "naruto episodes" and see wich ones are filler and just skip them! Although my friend told me which filler are funny, like the one trying to see under kakashi's mask, so I can know what not to skip.darkIink

Yeah that was the only good filler from the original series. The recent Shippuuden fillers weren't that bad either.

yeah this one movie damn i dont remember what it was called, it's pretty famousd i think it was about a dude who meets this girl and the dude is poisoned and promised the anitdote by the guy who poisoned him if he helps them fight off these enemy ninja guys and then its later revealed that the girl has the cure and to get it the guy must have sex with her, but she has a special disease or something where if she gets jiggy with it she dies. I think it was called Ninja Scroll.

Naruto totally ripped off DBZ. read the manga the creator even had Akria Toryiama as his role model(dbz creator). I would also like to point out that the main character wheres a orange and blue outfit, has the ability to transform and has a pointy haired rival who lost his ancestry though betrayal. The only difference between naruto and DBZ...well there is many but, goku is a bigger badass and Vegeta isnt an emo! also DBZ is better written(isnt saying much) and has less filler DBZ FTW!!!

I would also like to add that NARUTO IS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM A NINJA....NINJAS ARE COOL AND DONT WEAR ORANGE!!!

Anime =/= Cartoons

Animation =/= Childish

I hate it when people just assume this and they haven't even watched any good anime, watch Serial Experiments Lain, Death Note, Boogiepop Phantom, Wolf's Rain or Neon Genesis Evangelion, then come back and say that again.
