Mine resembles a linear game for sure. I wake up (usually in the afternoon because I stay up late), play video games, browse laptop, eat, shit, shower, repeat. I have a few classes each Tuesday and a few dinky work shifts on Fridays and Saturdays from about 5 PM-8 or 9 PM. That's pretty much my life at the moment.

I doubt many people with a job and a family have an "open world" life during the week days...unless of course, your job consists of travelling to all sorts of different places every week.

You should. The sequel is better and easier.

Dark souls is a great game. Half an hour of playing that game makes you realize how great life can be compared to... Well compared to the utter sh*t that Dark Souls is.

@BiancaDK: I agree with this statement, on the one hand yes I go to work, followed by my girlfriend's place, and I do homework with extreme regularity. This would suggest an extremely linear lifestyle. On the other hand after obtaining my bachelor's degree I intend to pursue 3D printing just to see where that takes me as well as taking some free online courses to increase my knowledge of the world and pursue my own hobbies. It may not be traveling from place to place (although I'm getting my fill of that as a contractor), but it is the intention of keeping myself open to explore any area of knowledge that I wish. In that way it's very much an open world.

Lol yeah, that's a good one. Sadly there's times I often think that for my life. If not Game Over, then it feels like a game where things were going swimmingly and not that bad at all, but now its like a game where I still kinda want to advance, and see new levels/worlds, and possibly an awesome grand castle, but at the same time it feels like there's not much of a point to it, because it feels like in this game you call life, I've lost too many lives, money, and key items you need at certain points/at the end of the game to really feel happy and successful.

Or a better way of describing it, ya know how some games/files you start up for a game, and in the file for the game you start up, it feels like you've taken too many wrong turns and lost too much key stuff? But you've done so much in the game, you really don't feel like pulling the plug and starting all over again in the game? My life feels like that too often.

Pretty linear but it does have open world sections. Used to be mainly open world but a mortgage put a stop to that pretty sharply!

3 years ago it was open world like GTA. Used to miss Uni classes, pick fights, travel around the country, spend money etc. Best days of my life so far. Then it became linear as hell... Extremely boring. Now it's train wreck.
