Does this country EVER care about Sanitary anymore?

I mean, for crying out loud, especially when working at fast food restaurants. I work at Pizza Hut/Wingstreet, & I'm a dishwasher there. Sometimes whenever I prepare the dough for the next day, sometimes I would constantly see many grease &/or crusts being stuck on the bottom of some of the pans for medium/large pans & breadstick pans. What the hell? And whenever I'm a dishwasher, we got some people always rushing me to catch up on pans or whatever when I'm trying to do them the right way; most people would just rinse those pans out a little, & stick them inside the dishwasher, while I tend to rinse all of the grease & scrub out all of the crusts that are being stuck on there, & then I stick them inside the dishwasher. The result of how I do them? Both dirt & grease free. Don't they know that constant grease &/or old crusts can make people sick & can cause food poisoning? The dishwasher doesn't exactly get rid of everything, it just rinses.

And then there's people not bothering to wash their hands before coming out of the restroom, especially when they're in public places, which is one of the reasons why I tend to use family or private restrooms.

Is it store policy to wash your hands before leaving? If so you should tell your manager.

It is pretty bad. I remember working in Baskin Robbins for my first job and the cleaning methods were frightening.

It just means you have a store where the managers are not doing their job. Managers should be monitoring unsafe health practices in the kitchen and/or work area. If people are not following them then that manager needs to let them go and hire people willing to do their job properly.

I thought America was unbelievably sanitary. With Europeans and the like being all water conservationists and not showering as much. Or maybe that's just what I heard. Sorry if I offended.dreDREb13

As a whole we are extremely sanitary. Unfortunately at a lot of our fast food places, that's not always the case.

speaking of sanitary, do people wipe there *** clean after a dump or do they jus leave it? Cos I heard some people dont wipe....

Yes, it is. There are even notes posted on that. I'm also talking about people not washing their hands in public places as well or are faking washing them.

People care but they are just probably lazy to do something.

don't worry about it man, just get a freelance job in any industry and you can always eat at spotless classy restaurants and eat chinese when your stuck with all-nighters.

I use to also think we were unsanitary, until I went to India. Now I can pretty much eat of anything, without a care of where its been.
