hey im watching breaking bad and its pretty interesting. its just that it's kinda getting annoying now. i just finished watching episode 2 of season 3. whats killing it for me is the wife parts. i seriously just can't stand the woman shes such a b1ch lol. i feel like going up and smacking my t.v. when shes on.

*spoilers*

she knows he had cancer, she knows that they are in a financial crisis, he admitted everything and did it all for his family, for her in the first place. the guy just had a kid and she forbade (is that a word lol?) him to see her. hell she even helps the guy she works for commit fraud or whatever. and after all that he went through, she goes and bangs another dude. it seems like lately they've been focusing on her way more.

oh and the plane crash thing i thought was kinda ridiculous too.

im just wondering is it worth it to continue watching? i enjoy the show but i don't know why man i just get so pissed when i see her lol. do they ever go back to walt and jesse and their awesomeness? this miserable woman crap is infuriating me lol i dunno.

oh and if you guys have any other shows to recommend plz do. my favourite show is game of thrones but i watched all of it and im looking for a new show to get into. breaking bad is just depression after depression.

It takes good writing and acting to get someone that pissed about a character.

And yes the wife is an annoying b!tch.

Breaking Bad only gets better and better. Also your description of Walter White is so wrong, trust me. Keep on watching the show and sooner or later Skyler will be the one you start feeling sympathy for.

I thought that the end of season 2 and the start of season 3 was kind of the low point for the series. It definitely gets better.

I sometimes don't understand how people can side with Walt all the time. Skylar is suppose to portray a realistic house-wife stance, while Walt slowly decays into a power hungry madman. Its all a grey area really.

Skylar remains a huge part of the show from here on in. Also there are quite a few "ridicioulous" moments like the plane crash such as the end of season 4.

I think she's kinda justified. I mean she found her husband is a big meth dealer, has probably killed people, and just all around doesn't feel safe around him.

People just want to defend Walt for some reason, he's a pretty awful guy.

I disagree. All of this drug sh*t could have been avoided if he took the money offered by his old friend (the one Walt co-foundered that company with), but his pride got in the way, and on top of that he got greedy, because although he had more than enough money for his family and his cancer treatment, he kept producing drugs. His wife did get annoying at times, but she's probably the most sensible character on the show.

In a real life situation, we would all side with Skylar , obviously. But since Walt is such an amazing character, we hate her for screwing with him. Hell, even the actress knows why she's hated (the character, not the actress.)

I lost interest in Breaking Bad after they started to go too over the top with it. The first season is the best by far, the rest are okay.

She is totally justified...saying "I did it for the family!" does not excuse the lying and, you know, becoming a freaking meth cook lol.  If I ever pulled something like that on my wife she'd never let it go either.

Yeah. I could understand that it might take a person a few episodes to get into a show, but if you're into the third season and still ain't digging it...

The last 2 episodes of Season 3 may be the best in the series.

I think Season 3 is the best, but many like Season 4 even better. Its close.

The first season is the worst.....yet its still excellent. Just not as good as the others.

The last 2 episodes of Season 1 are the high point of that season.

What he said. There is no way the first season is the best. Jesse's character is a one-dimensional bimbo, it's tonally all over the place, the visual style isn't established, and Tuco is so over-the-top as a villain to take seriously.

Walt going from likable guy to a d!ck is the entire point of the series, Hence the title Breaking Bad which means to deviate from whats right.

That's why people hate on her. God forbid she acts rationally to her husband's actions. How dare she cheat on her husband who makes meth! It's not like Skyler is alone in the hatred for television women, though. The misogyny goes back to the days of The Sopranos. Most anti-heroes' women get unfairly trashed.

She's extremely reasonable. I think most people would react the way she does. For the purpose of the show though, she's supposed to be disliked for standing in Walt's way.
