I drink beer every night .... well practically, and I haven't noticed a difference. I think as long as you balance out your calories you don't gain weight. For instance..... rather then having some huge dinner I had some beans.... and then I will have some beer.... that would be the equivelent of a real dinner. What are your thought on beer making you fat.

Taking in more calories than you burn in a day makes you fat.

If you expend more calories than you take in, you won't get fat. If you don't want to do that, there is always light beer. *hefts*

Well if your not active, then yes, beer will make you fat, but I suppose if you were active and burned off the calories during the day, then no it wouldn't, really just depends on your lifestyle. But Beer definitely contains alot of calories in it.

read the october issue of mens fitness magazine. it gives a whole section on BENEFITS of beer to the body. it includes things like preventing alzheimers. reducing fat deposits in the heart. and increasing bone strength. hops is what makes beer, beer is quite a healthy plant

It takes time, but if you drink a lot of beer...you will gain weight and lose your shape (if you're even in shape). It doesn't matter how skinny you are or how fast your metabolism is. If you keep drinking without balancing it out, it will negatively affect the way your body looks.

If you eat beans and drink beer you will become malnutritioned in a few months

your stomach also expands from all the liquid in your stomach then when you eat food you won't get full as quickly
