News in general is impossible to take seriously, but outlets like CNN and FOX either do themselves in or get lambasted so frequently that nobody can take them seriously.
Yes I do and so do all the viewers that make it the most popular news channel. :|

Well that's unfortunate for all of you people who are sorrowfully mislead.Mislead? How come I don't see you making topics about MSNBC? Are you going to tell me that MSNBC is a very credible and fair news program and doesn't lean any political direction--and moreover, doesn't give a strong influence to which way they want their audience to lean as well? I watch MSNBC every morning when I get up--as I always has for the past 10 years, does this mean I'm a mislead liberal who's out of touch with the real world? Of course not, for that would be silly.

I don't take any news corporation completely seriously. But I do watch Fox News the most. The only reason people claim that they're a incredible news channel, is because they don't slant to the left like most other news outlets. And since the media these days is dominated by the left-wing, you get people claiming they're "not credible." Makes no sense really. They as credible as any other news outlet. In my opinion at least. I doubt many would side with me though since this forum is about as right-wing as Obama's big toe.

And thats generally what i get from these forums as well. Not to overgeneralize, just sayin. Personally i see what pirate700 means and agree. I don't take ANY news channel seriously, but i watch fox news more than any other. Oh yeah, and it is the number one news channel...
I don't pay much attention to the opinions of anyone from Fox, NBC etc. I try to take the information as it is and make my own judgements. Fox seems to be more overtly biased, whereas the others are more subtle.
I don't take any of the 24/7 news channels seriously. I think the Daily Show has made a very good case over the years it's been on air as to why those news sources are nothing more than joke fodder. That said, Fox News is so terrible that it makes channels like CNN and MSNBC look like bastions of journalistic excellence.

No lulz, I sometimes read an article on MSN but I mostly watch Daily Show/ Colbert Report and Indie media to get away from all the BS that is mainstream news. But yes FOX is the worse, can't believe people watch that for anything but to laugh.

For the most part they aren't any worse than the other big networks, they just slant another way. But I would argue that Hannity and Glenn Beck are a good deal worse than anyone I've seen on the other networks. They don't just lean towards the right, they're actively dishonest. Also, I don't like how Fox News hires people like Carl Rove as pundits.
