I dislike cold/damp weather in general.
Warm and pleasant, but not hot. That's how it should be. (IMO)
I used to like them in high school, now I hate them. Classes were canceled for 3 days during the week of Thanksgiving (so we had the whole week off) and when we went back to class all the exams were crammed into 1 week since it was the last week before finals.
They're frustrating here in the UK because we're never prepared for snow. So the pavements get left untreated, which virtually turns into blocks of ice after the snow's gone, which means I can't go anywhere without the serious risk of falling over and breaking my neck.
We don't even experience winter/snow here in the first place. This place is tropical. I sure as hell want to experience some snowball fight right now :(
It's not very pleasent to be outside when it's 40° celsius here either :)We've got lots of snow here in Sweden right now. To the guy asking if it's beautiful: Yes it is. So I don't mind. It's pretty unpleasent to be outside when it's -20° celcius, though.. (that's -4 fahrenheit, if that's what you use).

So long as I have a nice warm place to seek shelter in, I don't mind. We get a lot of lake effect snow where I'm at. So when it snows, we get dumped on. I've lived in places where it snowed for much of my life. I'm fine although I don't care much for winter sports. The most I do outside is shovel the snow on the driveway, do a little sledding on the hill with some of the neighborhood kids, or maybe build a snowman.
I go to work no matter what the weather is like. I don't mind driving in a good snow storm, it makes things more interesting.
True that. Just have to watch out for morons that can't drive in itI go to work no matter what the weather is like. I don't mind driving in a good snow storm, it makes things more interesting.

I've never had a snow day. When I was a kid I lived in Boise. When it snowed, they plowed it right away. When the temperature got down to 0F (and sometimes it could be weeks before it went above 0), they didn't do anything special. Most kids at my school walked there, and the school just expected parents to take responsibility and bundle them up properly.
My kids get snow days, and sometimes I'm embarrassed by the amount of snow it takes to call off school here.
But they're not a real day off, because they usually have to make up for the snow day by making you go to school on a nice day. They just add days to the end of the year, and the last few weeks of school are always a great time anyways. School in early June knowing the year was about to end was fun I miss that so much[QUOTE="AL_GREEN"]I appreciated any days off I could getaransom
