For example, those who just find a way to get in argument when somebody for about almost every topic. I was influenced to make this, because I noticed there are a handful of users, who seem to really go out of their way to get in an argument.. Like starting a argument over a topic that had no debate in the first place. Do these people simply like to just debate and create discussion, or do you think most of these people are just simply insecure. What do you think?

I never claimed I believed in either side.

I think for the most part people just like to argue, that's why I argue at least. Sure there's some people out there trying to actually prove something but honestly those people are mostly idiots who the rest of us laugh at.

Arguing is fun. With an open mind, it can help one learn a bit, too.

I'm just talking about people.. who really.. I mean really go out of their way. For example ( this isn't real ) but let's say somebody makes a nice friendly topic on ice cream. Somebody comes in, and start creating a huge argument. Not a friendly one, but a serious kind of mean argument. Or when somebody settles the argument, and admits defeat, and the person just keep trying to find new way to get ther person to respond again so he/she can keep arguing.

Vanilla >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> chocolate.

Fact, not opinion.

And people can be douchy in that they arguments past their welcome. That much I'll freely admit.

Ok, so part of this thread is now about which ice cream is better.. which would be Vanilla.

I enjoy when people start arguments in threads, even when they have nothing to do with the topic of the thread, just because I think it is fun and occasionally interesting to read. Unless it is about semantics. Or involves a certain poster I will not name. I just like arguing, on the internet at least, and I assume that's true for a lot of people starting the arguments as well.

Ya I agree, I think the majority do come off as good arguments.. There's just been a few times where I wonder..

One of my flat mates argues about everything. I've played almost 2000 hours of Left 4 Dead and he played about 50. He contradicts me. I got 100 on a math test and he got 60? The next day he says I solved an exercise on our homework wrong and tries to correct me (he was wrong again). It honestly does not matter to him if 10 people say a ball is red. He will keep saying it's purple. So I'd say people who keep arguing are the opposite of insecure. I'd say they are stupid. I'm insecure, though I shouldn't be, and I rarely ever argue.

I just ignore the offender and continue discussion with the others.

OP sounds insecure about debating.
