Bryan Cranston is officially the king of Comic-Con following this clip from Thursday’s Q&A for SuperMansion on Crackle. As you can see, a Breaking Bad fan got up to ask Cranston what he enjoyed about shooting the show in Albuquerque, New Mexico — the fan’s hometown — and Cranston went to the well to pull off a classic:

“I’d go and visit your mother once in a while.”

The real Walter White then went and literally dropped the mic on the stage as the crowd lost it.

Don't know how to feel about this ...some say it was such an asshole-ish thing to do and more are like "grow a pair of humor balls" ....It was pretty hilarious but i don't know if such behavior should be encouraged or not..

That was funny I admit, but it was a dick move. There are limits to jesting with a strange in a public forum, even if the stranger is a fan. In fact, you ought to honor that fandom and demonstrate tact and decency.

Oh please, that guy is gonna have this story to tell for the rest of his life. This shouldn't even be a question.

It took that guy 15 seconds to ask a three second question.

Albuquerque. Now that has to be the weirdest name for a city.

I honestly though it was the guy's youtube name or something.

I mean how do you even pronounce it? Al burger queue?

I don't think it's a serious issue but I do think Bryan should assess the person he's talking to before he tries to be funny; sure, he's entitled to answer any way he wants during his panel but some compassion and basic empathy are never misplaced. If it were one of those cocky kids wanting to show up on Youtube then they would probably have loved the answer but this kid was really nervous and he makes the situation worse by embarrassing him in public.

He pretty much threw the kid under the bus just to get a laugh out of everyone else. Not funny, dick move but I'm pretty sure the kid will survive. It's not really something that needs to be scrutinized, in my opinion.

It's only a joke. The guy who asked the question is probably of an age where he hears it a lot as well. The guy was a bit nervous so I can understand why he may not have been the best person to do it on, especially in a room full of people.

It's nothing terrible, though. I probably found Bryan Cranston's expression with dropping the mic funnier than the actual joke.

Sure, it's a joke and whatnot, but the kid was obviously nervous, obviously a big fan and he wasn't being in any way a dick, and what does Bryan Cranston go and mak?, a joke about the kid's mom. I dunno, I found it asshole-ish, and it wasn't like he was being particularly witty with his response.

Exactly , he'll get mocked for that ...

i know it's not a a big-deal but there are lots of other concepts to joke about ...hurting a kid for the sake of a good laugh is just not right.

Close. Al-buh-kirk-ki would be closer. Also I thought Cranston's response was apt and funny. I probably would've scowled, said "spit it out already" and then given the kid a death stare if I was in Bryan Cranston's position.

First of all, the kid looks older than 12 - looks like he has surely heard this joke before. Second of all, this clip was only 38 seconds and most of it was the kid asking the question. I'd imagine Cranston went on to actually answer the question after this.

I dono where people are getting this idea that he was insulting him. Even as someone not American, from the tone of his voice, without needing his examine the words you can tell it was a light jest. Rather than the intent of insulting him. Bryan Cranston was attempting to empathize with his age group putting him at ease as opposed to trying to make him cry, as he was probably aware (as it is quite obviose) the fellow is nervous.

It was a joke. He's a fucking entertainer. It's his job to make people laugh and have a good time. The kid was even laughing.

God forbid an actor tries to make his fans experience with him meaningful. **** it, lets have all actors be as soulless as Tom Cruise, or Emma Watson.
