Yes, I was in Judo for one year and five years in Tae Kwon Do. I'm second dan in TKD and I instruct some classes, didn't make it very far in Judo since we moved and I didn't feel like pursuing it.

Tae Kwon Do for a year then quit to play football. Now I want to train in BJJ, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and learn some Sambo. I would love to go pro one day and fight in DREAM or UFC.

I was into Karate when I was like 5 or 6 but quickly lost interest when dudes 30 years and older were beating the crap out of me in sparring. I guess it is pretty amusing to punch a little kid in the stomach and watch him cry and gasp for breath.

Join a club as soon as you can. Don't worry about getting into shape before, you will get into shape while taking a martial art's class as long as you put effort into it. The more you wait the harder you will find it.

You're still young. Just do it as soon as you can. It'll proabably be one of your best decisions ever.

Yellow belt means you have been doing it for about a year almost. I was at the level before I quit for football. Now the fight bug has come back to bite me.

....No its not. If you learn it correctly Judo is actually an incredible martial art.

Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Sambo (my favorite), Western Boxing and Judo.

Krav Maga, that martial art is brutal. There is not honor to it at all. Which in a way makes it more useful in real life since there is no honor in real life battles.

Tae Kwan Do for like almost a year I think; was probably 8 or 10 months. Got to blue belt. Then moved and it was to far, so now I go to Wado Kai and I'm a brown belt now (can only get 1 belt a year) and you have to be atleast 15 years old to get a black belt (turned that age a few months ago) and you have to be a brown belt for like 2 or 3 years. If I was still in Tae Kwan Do I'd definately be a black belt by now.

No, but I kind of wish I did. I believe there's a place in my town that teaches Silat, but I don't think I'm quite in shape for it.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over a year. Unfortunately the club dissolved. I'm looking to take Judo soon because the only other martial arts in my town are Karate and TKD.... In a few months when I can afford to buy a car I'll be driving up to a MMA gym 3-4 times a week to train Muay Thai and no-gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
