Yes all the time. I have quite a large collection of music in languages other than English. Hmmmm...that reminds me to pick up the new album by the legendary Manu Chao whose arrival took me by complete suprise.

Nope. Lyrics are perhaps the most important part of music, imo. If i cant understand it, i dont listen to it.

It seems like a lot of people just listen to music in other languages because it's "cool". Something about how it's not the same language as English gets a "cooler" stamp on it. Rather than listening to it because they actually want to.

There are always translations online. If you're lyric-focused then you're missing out on the rest of the world's lyrics :)

btw: Rammstein (see sig) and Megaherz.

I listen to Indian music. I don't understand a word they say, but the rhythm and beat of it just sounds so poetic. There's really no other music that gives me that feeling.

Guys who say "Lyrics are everything". Well..those rap music people listen to. You telling me people actually understand a word in that? They speak so fast I won't even pretend to know what they say.

Yep. Funny thing is I didn't like Von when it came out, then a couple years ago I tried hem again and really liked Agaetis Byrjun and (). Then when I went to iceland a couple years ago it was like everything clicked and I've been borderline obsessed with them since then. I was pretty surprised at how big music is there.

I listen to a lot of Japanese music. If there's any song in english in my iPod, chances are that it's a Japanese person singing in English. Starting to learn a bit of Japanese so I might know a little bit of the lyrics. otherwise I just look em up

I don't think that the lyrics are that important, depends on what kind of music you are listening to.
