Pain, one of the things that you can't avoid, pain can be physicall and/or mental.
For now lets focus on physical pain: How high is your pain tolerance?
Mine is pretty high till a certain degree, what about you guys?

@deeliman: i work at a radio station, i don't think they want that...
That's cool; didn't know that =D Which station do you work for? Local or national?
As for pain I'm quite desensitized....as a kid I had really bad asthma (some asthma attacks would last quite long...I had one that lasted 8 months in varying degrees of intensity...after a few days the pain in your lungs becomes excruciating) and then I had martial arts training, which dulled my senses to the pain even further.
@korvus: Omroep Gelderland :p
Oh nice =D If you're lucky I might let you interview my wife =P

@chaoscougar1: Is your mind ever NOT in the gutter?
I ask because I'd like to know what that's like =(

There's really never a dull moment
@korvus: And we both know his mind IS the gutter xD
;D
Sexiest gutter you done ever seen
@korvus: :o, you haz footage of her playing?
Sure =) I've been doing my best not to let people know who she is to avoid her getting harassed by some of the assholes here though so I won't post it in the forums.
Somewhat. I had to learn to deal with a good bit of pain with my lung surgeries back in '07 and '08. My mouth has a high heat tolerance. I can pick up a piece of pizza and start eating and a friend will burn their mouth, thinking that it wasn't that hot.
@YearoftheSnake5: i dare you to eat hotpocket just out of the oven!
What's in it for me?

They should have some headphones lying around somewhere then :)
i am not going to steal them from an editor eli >.<
You won't be stealing them, just "loaning" them. Yes, loaning.
I had my appendix burst. Thought I had food poisoning. Got rushed to the hospital when it went "red hot" and I started screaming and fainting.
Surgeon told me it was the worst mess he had ever seen. (He likened it to the scene in Alien.) He also said that I must have an incredible tolerance to pain. (And here I thought I was a wuss!)
I now know what a level 10 pain is - it's when you start screaming because of the pain, pass out and then wake up screaming because of the pain (repeat repeat repeat until they knock you out). I was never even in the hospital until I was in my 50s.
I did have two wisdom teeth pulled on separate occasions. One hurt a lot, the other didn't.
Hmm...good question....I suppose I have a medium tolerance...I wouldn't go as far as to say it was high. I have tattoos; those in itself can be painful...I've been pierced by an arrow twice and I have been stabbed. Mind you, I in no way enjoyed any of those things, but while they did hurt...I guess my reaction to my burning, bleeding flesh could have been a lot more dramatic. lol
Pretty tolerable i have to say. Unlike my friend who ran out of his apartment naked claiming the devil talked to him and let him feel the pain of 1000 souls burning in the fire. He seriously just went insane, screaming, and jumped into a lake. So i say any pain i feel won't even be close to that, so i say pretty tolerable.
I dont know but from what I've been told yes. I tend to just focus on my breathing while going through pain while staying still or not screaming and it usually helps me get through it no problem
It probably also helps that I am always hurt or injured in one way or another so Im just used to being in pain in my day to day life

Holy crap...I only made it to 392 souls before I couldn't take it anymore...props to your friend for making it to the end-game.
I can handle most pain pretty well, but when my gut starts acting up I just want to die. It feels like something's alive in there and pushing around all the sensitive places of my intestines. I've had to just drop prone on the floor a few times because I've nearly passed out from the pain. And when it hits every pour on my body starts sweating profusely...in a matter of a minute I can have a literal puddle of sweat under me.
It sucks.
@br0kenrabbit: good lord, buddy
i hope you've had that checked at the doc
It's Crohn's and there's shit all they can do. It's not an all-the-time thing, but when it flares up...hold me.
Considering I have one of the most painful chronic disorders (Interstitial Cystitis w/ Hunner's ulcers) and have rheumatism I would say I have a pretty high pain tolerance...granted I will still swear like a sailor if I hurt myself but that is just how I deal with most annoying/painful things.
As of now, yes. I'm in pain to the bone every day. Every joint of my body is in pain. I will sometimes torture myself with hot chilly peppers to dull out the pain.

I'd say first that I'm not willing to feel pain at any time. Than that I seek to avoid paid as much as I can. For example, and it has been whined, I really cover myself in winter to avoid cold that is similar to pain. I hate pain and even minor pain like minor burn. It's annoying and anyway who got to be a little crazy, imo, to like pain or seek for it.
Than I'll say that I'm about sure that I have high pain tolerance to not say extreme tolerance. And so what I call being very strong.
