Do you get a lot of views on YouTube or Instagram?

You might've seen those people who get hundreds of thousands of views for their video game walkthrough uploads. Are you one of them and if so how do you feel about the fame?

I come from the days before the internet and was a child when Nintendo came out. I'm surprised to see gaming come this far.

I never did one. I don't think I would, when I start gaming I normally drink beers and my videos will turn into regrettable embarrassments, I think there are too many people out there doing it.

Steam and Playstation let's our friends watch our games at any time now and I use those features. Not interesteing in random persons playthrough but it's different when it's your friends and you can talk to them through Teamspeak / Ventrilo.

i never made a walkthrough and generally don't care for other people's.

however i have started checking out some tool assisted speedruns that are just ridiculous..

All of my videos have a combined total of around 800,000 but that's over several years. I haven't made any videos in years so my monthly views are now quite low.

Couple of videos got 100k to quarter of a million views.

I think a sect of people appreciate when you just upload game footage without any commentary or attempts at "comedy".
