Not shows from their childhood either. Shows like MLP, Adventure Time, Regular Show, etc. And what about those people that constantly b*tch about how Cartoon Network sucks these days? I'd like to tell them to grow up already and change the channel.

We all have a child inside us. Sometimes watching a single cartoon brings back all these memories from our innocent and probably best years of our life. Now being a full-grown adult and spending all day watching cartoons then I guess that could be considered creepy.

Im 20, I watch Adventure Time, Regular Show, Legend Of Korra, Chowder, Gravity Falls, Young Justiice so on. Don't see a problem with it their good entertainment and I like being comfortable with what I watch *shrugs*. I don't find it creepy, MLP..I find it alittle weird. I have seen a few episodes I can understand WHY some teens watch it, good characters, Animation, good story with meaning and so on. While I can't stomach watching them I can understand why some watch it, a good piece of Media is still good, no matter if it doesn't match your *preference*

No, I love cartoons. Why is it creepy? Also, Cartoon Network rocks these days. Sure it went through a pretty bad period in the mid 2000s, but its got plenty of great shows these days. Also, for the good ol' shows of your childhood, they have boomerang.

Why would it be creepy?

Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.

-C.S. Lewis.

People can watch whatever they want, but some of the behaviour by some fans of some children cartoons can get a bit creepy, but watching the shows is not creepy.

I don't care what anybody watches. Bronies constantly posting about that show kind of identifies them as sad little attention seekers though.

cartoons are better and funnier than most of the simple sitcoms that are on tv today. and i get tired of sex jokes and jokes about vajay jays and pa nay nays that fill up most of sticom's dialog and jokes. cartoons are more innocent the jokes are funny.

Allow me to elaborate in unnecessarily explicative detail...

When I was a young boy, all I ever wanted was a pony. I looked up to them, I worshiped them. PONIES WERE EVERYTHING TO ME! And now that I'm all grown up, I'm exactly what I wanted to be...

Regular cartoons like the classic Nick shows, no. They are mostly adult humor. Cartoons for really little kids, Dora the Explorer or Nick Jr. cartoons, yes that's a bit weird.

You know I don't understand how I liked Animaniacs so much as a kid. So much in that show just goes over your head as a kid. I mean not on the level of something like classic Simpsons, but still awesome.

MLP has a pretty creepy fanbase.

Regular show and adventure time are pretty good imo. Funny with bits and AT actually has a decent story.

People just love to be haters, but I doubt many have actually gone back to look at cartoons from when they were a kid, and honestly, many of them sucked.

Not creepy, probably more sad. When I'm channel surfing I often time stop by a cartoon just to see what its about, and I always I come to realize that the comedy is derived from silly faces and weird sounds. Which is funny because that is precisely what BABIES find funny.

I especially noticed this in in anime, japan, which is widely known as not having a very good sense of humor always depend on silly faces to drive their humor, and I was a huge anime fan as a teen. But their brand of comedy is just very easy to pull off, it's sheer simplicity is probably why anime is so popular amongst teens.

I honestly thnk that most adults should move on, there is much better comedy and entertainment out there...just look for it.

Cartoons - Its okay if you're watching it with a younger relative, including your child. If you're watching it constantly for your own pleasure, you're odd. Anime - weeaboo.

I've long quit watching the anime, and the character portrayed in my icon is actually Red, who has only appeared in the video games. Ash is Red's anime counterpart, but they aren't the same person.
