Sometimes I think about the fact that I will never see the year 3000, or the year 6000.. and that makes me very sad. So many assumptions and questions about what will happen to our world by then.

What if the future is nothing but a nuclear winter? Would you still want to see it? The point being is that as we have no idea what will happen of this mud ball in ten years, let alone in 1000 years, we should be contended with the dull present.

No not really to be honest. You are only here for a short amount of time, enjoy it while it lasts.

People have too much free time on their hands if they're thinking about this and getting sad. I only imagine my future and where can I possibly stand - and that amuses me.

Our present is pretty good right now. The way things are going in this world, I can only imagine things are going to get worse unless we get our act together.

You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present. - Oogway

The older I get the more I agree with his philosophy. Live in the now, baby.

I'm not too upset that I'm going to miss out on a population crash involving billions.

Who says the future will be worth seeing, or who says that you won't see it, maybe you'll go to Heaven or be reincarnated.

Worrying about something you can't change or control is generally a waste of time.

I have too much free time because I think about things? I never said I sat around an pondered it for days, me and my woman were just talking about Doctor Who (10th doctor for the win!) and it just came up.

Not really, I get to experience the present and it's great.

We just got super-high resolution photos of Pluto.

This is fucking huge and barely anyone is talking about it.
