In other words, do you love making quotes and poetry? or you just view things from a really non-general point of view?Do deep words strike right through and give you chills?

Just to be clear, I don't want people to just come up and say it straight "I am sooo deep you won't even find Adele rolling in me!". If you say so, you've to clarify it as well. Maybe a quote? some lines from your poetry? or maybe your point of view about a certain thing?

I will tell what I am when I get a few good responses in this thread.

So making quotes and poetry makes you "deep".

I'm like so deep.

Not the kind of poetry and quotes that you probably make.

How so?

You sure think highly of yourself.

Do you quote poetry in your daily life, or is it just the Twitter/Facebook status update variety?

I was just kidding. Your reaction tells me that you either are not deep at all or you are but you are too embarrassed to say anything here.

Of course I do.

I don't upload shit on facebook. People there are fkn idiots, they only deserve retarded statuses like "I'm eating popcorn", "With my gf at mall" bla bla bla bla bla. I use my own quotes in either my essays or to my friends who need them. Real life application my amigo.

One of my favorites (perhaps of all of them) is: "Poderoso caballero es Don Dinero" which appears in the poem of the same title by Francisco de Quevedo.

Which would roughly translate to: "A powerful knight is Sir Money/Don Money". [It rimes, and sounds pretty cunning in Spanish]. It feels like a truth plainly elegantly stated.

It became pretty useful when I wanted to drill it on my brother brain that many of the ills/problems/seemingly "inexplicable" things that occur in today's day and age come from money/power.

Now when we talk he sometimes gets ahead of me and quotes it and I say: "precisely".

Anyone who self-classifies themselves as deep isn't really deep, they are just full of themselves.

Well you have to self-classify yourself as deep before committing to this thread.

So all this is, is an exercise in pretentiousness.

This is hard to answer because I don't exactly know what makes a person "deep".

But I don't give a shit so I'm probably not anyway.

"I am sooo deep you won't even find Adele rolling in me!"

Statement of the year folks.
