i am quite interested but so far most of those astrology websites as well as the local astrologers whom have given me some predictions have failed. just today another astrologer visited to our house and when asked by my mother about my one-sided love situation, he said that the girl loves me but her father is not allowing me to marry her nor has she ever mailed me once nor responded, how can she would be loving me, i am sure she is not that frightened of her parents, but then again it could also mean that she is too moral and cultural and respective to her parents, and if thats the case then wow, i already had some idea that she was quite a moral and cultural person! how lucky i am!!! but anyways how could the astrologer predict anything just by knowing her name?! the astrologer had my birth chart in his hands and he predicted i am from the past and of 4th generation of my father's family! how would he predict such things, he also said this is my rebirth in the same family and other stuff. ofcourse i do not believe much of him eventhough i liked the girl's part more and hope thats a fact that she too loves me. but anyways do anyone of you believe in astrology or have had any experience of accurate predictions etc..?!
well she does not believe in either, she says its a waste of time and energy. (which is her usual way to say for most things) i have heard names of some astrologers who claim for the accuuracy but they too have failed at times, so yeah or perhaps my birthtime could be wrong, as there is a confusion of around half an hour from my parents. i mean each says a bit different time.

in India its more older system of prediction then centuries. something like couple of yugas older. yes those planets does effect the whole globe not only humans and they are also considered gods/demi-gods in my religion. well how about palmistry or numerology?! i am sure there are other ways of predictions such as tarrot cards and stuff but all this i have seen is in the net not in real life, i mean the experience of such except for the local astrologers and their predictions.

I'm hoping you got Astronomy and Astrology mixed up.
Astrology is the BS one, you know, horoscopes and all that crap. Take two different newspapers on the same date and they'll say something completely different, and it'll be vague as hell anyways.
Astronomy is the the study of the stars. You know, pointing telescopes at the sky and observing what you see.Â
I read my horoscope every now and then. The reason why it seems to apply to your life every time you read it, is because it's such a vague prediction, your mind tricks you into thinking that its for real.

well, then you would be talking about astronomy rather than astrology...two very different things...
no, no. i did research for an english piece about astromomy (star signs and all that jazz) and found that there is nothing linking it all. the fact that every single star sign magazine thing predicts different patterns makes it hard to believe.
well overall i think the weekly or daily predictions for the various signs would not be affecting everyone in a particular sign as that depends on one's birth chart, i am interested in astrology but the experience so far is not good.
