Do big dogs poop more than small dogs?

I live on the first floor of an apt., and I see people come out with their dogs to let them go do their thang. And it seems as though I see this woman with her big dog out there more than this guy with his small dog out there. So do big dogs go out more often?

Yeah, well bigger dogs usually tend to eat more, therefore the poo more...

but their intestines are also larger which should mean food shouldn't be pooped out til much longer, right?

smaller dog, more frequent poops; larger dog, less frequent poops
