Nope. Buzz Aldrin was the pilot, so he's the one who landed.

But it was in winter when the sun is cold.

And at night. 'Cause y'know, the sun isn't on during night. So that makes it less hot :V

I certainly hope you post it so we can clear this confusion up. I feel a bit embarrassed that my limited knowledge is preventing me from participating in this discourse.

actually they landed on Lunar, the moon is not a name it a family type of orbitals around planets

#23 Posted by Xyonblade (896 posts) -

I'm going to avoid any contextual complexion of the question, and just say, yes. Humans did land on the moon in lunar modules during the run of the apollo missions. All of the photographs of the lunar surface from orbit are real.So are the photographs and video of our men on the moon. Why we have not been to the moon since then, or using the technology from the apollo missions for our new missions? Well for one, computers have improved exponentially since 1969, using the same computers and tech for lunar modules as we did pack then is impractical, I'm sure the majority of that equipment is not even in production any more, and the rocket system used back then is no longer in production either. Why we stopped in the first time? classified but wouldent you like to know :D

I definitely believe he landed on the moon, no question. Though, it is pretty crazy they were able to do that with the limited technology they had. Computers were practically not even invented.
#30 Posted by streloksbolt (257 posts) -

I don't believe the moon exists, let alone the moon landing.

No we landed on the dark side of the Moon, it has been proven. Hell we sent robots to Mars (which we could possibly be landing on in the not so distant future), what makes you think we didn't land on the Moon?

why is it that people never say "did the russians ever land on the moon?"

Look up higher in the thread at the pictures of the landers. Search for moon reflectors, etc. So much proof, but you have to be willing to look at it. Plus, take a look at all the moon rocks, pictures of astronauts etc.

So I guess you don't believe anything happened before camera's were invented? Seriously it has been proven may times over that we have landed on the moon.

There are mirrors on the Moon that have been known to reflect lasers beamed straight to them. This has been documented and filmed by the Mythbusters.

There are photos and video footage of Armstrong walking on the Moon and Shepherd golfing on the Moon.

Lol, if sarcastic I applaud you, if serious, you need to learn a few things before coming to conclusions, especially from a fake news site.

I beg to differ, Onion News is an unbiased and reliable news site. It even says so in the title.

Can you imagine the crazy calculations they had to do by hand? It just boggles the mind...
