Back in the mid 1900s, when asian films weren't doing so well with with audiences, they suddenly received an influx of attention, particularly from

the black audience.

My reasons as to why this happens and why kung-fu movies appeal to black people

-No Whitey

-They're about going against the man and kicking ass.

And so my conclusion is- black people love Kung-Fu movies.

Yes, pretty much

Kung fu flicks would be shown alongside Blaxploitation movies in the old grindhouse theaters. That's probably why.

^ She is a honey to be sure.

But no...the kung fu genre, like any other, goes through cycles of popularity and certainly has never needed "saving" by the black community...though they have helped to increase its profile due to the old 's era mixing of blaxploitation and poorly dubbed chop socky flicks.

Black people have helped with lots of stuff It's just racists who downplay it.

Wu-Tang Clan would probably agree.
