Well, even if they're scum, it's the last thing they get to experience... and What they choose sort of adds a personality to them that is otherwise unknown. Funny, the timing of this thread. I actually just read an article about this very subject. A photo artist took pictures of the meals, and texas apparently threw the last meal thing out the window not too long ago. On another note, every area has a different policy regarding the last meal with budget and food options. As for me, If I was trying to be witty, I'd ask for a Monster energy drink, and a steak done bloody rare. Though my realistic choice would be a turkey leg, buttered lumpy mashed potatos, a couple pieces of bacon, cheesy broccoli, and a can of coke.

I wish I could stand behind the stance of letting them eat slop for their last meal, but I can't. Plus, as the article describes it, it's a morbid fascination for me.
