My team leader at work is convinced that the film Daredevil was a good film but I'm trying to convince him that it was really bad. I can't remember what made it suck so much since I haven't saw it in a while so can someone please inlighten me :)

Hmm. There are many feasible reasons that one might give. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong by simply saying "Ben Affleck".nocoolnamejimI was coming in here to say those exact two words.

Directed The Town and Gone Baby Gone. Why jump on the hate bandwagon? He's a good actor, and a great writer.

He's not as good as Matt Damon. And he was in Pearl Harbor. So people don't like him. Anyway, back to Daredevil...
BTW, stop trolling on your team leader. He has the right to like what he like. You are not him.magicalclickDisagreeing with him makes me a troll?
I think is one of those "so bad is good" films, it has some pretty dumb moments, like the fight in the park (omg, that's painful to watch, that is bad, bad, bad in a very bad way), but the over the top Kingpin, and some decent fight scenes kind of save the film for me to at least a decent time killer.
for one ben affleck didn't even wanna really do it, he even says now he regreted the role and two, i have so many problems with a blind superhero and thinks it quite lame. Thats why i didn't like it.
I think Ben Afflec is alright but he plays a horrible super hero, just like someone else...(Green Lanturn *cough*) But the thing that really killed the movie was the acting, from everyone. But with writing like that...
BullsEye: "Miss? How Can I miss *Grunts with obvious disgust, then quickly stares at the camera* I never miss, but he made me miss...." WTF
Poor Cinematography.
Horrible Acting.
Bad Casting.
Unoriginal Dialog.
Terrible Special Effects.
Only redeeming thing of the movie was Kingpin vs Daredevil fight at the end, not because of the action but for the line "I'm gon getchuuu"... It's a line that I quote ALOT with my friends/family when we play games (and we all say it how Michael Clark Duncan says it)... funny stuff.
Easily some of the worst writing I've seen in a movie; and the acting was just as awful. So was everything else for that matter.

For starters, doesn't the movie essentially start with Daredevil brutally murdering a dude (by making him get dismembered by a subway train) just because that dude escaped a murder conviction?
Furthermore, I could be wrong, but I recall that Daredevil was actually a lawyer. As in, when he loses a case, he flat-out murders the person who he was prosecuting.
I remember that happening in like, the first ten minutes of the damn movie. I don't remember him ever feeling bad about that kind of moral code, I don't recall him ever learning a lesson about how he was wrong. I just remember a freaking LAWYER who loses a case and then goes out and throws a dude in front of a subway train while women and children are watching in horror at seeing a human being get dismembered.
The scene in the playground where Electra and Dare Devil fought with children cheering them on basically sums up the movie to me.. sSubZerOo
And yes, there's also this.
Bottom line...totally unlikable protagonist, the goddamn playground scene, and the rest of the movie was too boring for me to remember anything else about it other than that the Kingpin was Black.
Oh yeah, one more thing. Bullseye's impressive introduction consists of him choking an old lady to death by flicking a peanut into her mouth. No badass introduction, instead Daredevil's Foe's powers are introduced when he LITERALLY gets an old lady to accidentally choke on an airplane peanut.
So...we've got a blind guy fighting a guy who's really good at flicking peanuts into the throats of 70 year old ladies. Good freaking job. At least they got Michael Clarke Duncan to play the Kingpin, instead of just snatching up a random fatass from off the streets.
