Poll Concerning Pizza, one of the most divisive subjects or these modern times (43 votes)
How do you take your pizza? I mean, obviously, deep dish is far superior. But some of you loons are just bat-shit insane and I'd like to know who.

I like regular pan pizza and thin crust. I've had deep dish but not enough to develop a love for it, but I'm sure I wouldn't be hard pressed to decide that I do.
I don't understand the hate for pineapple on pizza. It offers a certain flavor that compliments other ingredients if you have the right palette for it. I like pineapple and lots of meat on my pizza, the sausage usually has a little spiciness that the sweet of the pineapple balances out. I can't stand the crunch of a barely warmed onion on top of pizza but some people just load theirs with it. Don't get it but I won't knock it.
I had to google what deep dish was
I've never tried that looks so tasty! Wish they'd sell that where I live

Same, back where I come from they call it "fluffy crust" =P That's my favourite anyway =D
EDIT: Ok, after looking at images that thing is way too thick XD I don't like them paper thin (which is what thin crust is for me) but I don't want a cake either =P
Depends on what the toppings are.
EDIT: seems I've confused deep dish with thick crust. Now I've seen deep dish, what they hell? That is not a pizza.

Because jalapenos + pineapple = ugh.
Save the pineapple for grilled cheeses.
deep dish is not pizza, it's a fucking casserole...
anyone who disagrees is a communist.
Pineapple on pizza.
And this is why we fail.
I don't understand why people are against pineapple. Hawaiian pizza is pretty darn good in my opinion. Why? The ham is salty and the pineapple is sweet, so it works well together. Perhaps, pineapple by itself may not be so appetizing.
And fruit on pizza is nothing new. Heck, the sauce is made from tomatoes, which is also a fruit.

lol 'muricans stop making food threads when you have never seen real food in your life.
so what's "real food"?
Depends, if I'm eating some nasty chain pizza then I'm going for thin crust but if I hit one of the local pizzarias it's NY style pizza (in Florida, lots of trasnplanted New Yorkers here).
Also have any of you had one of these?
@br0kenrabbit: Deep dish Pizza is far superior? Am I highly disappointing in you or what?
For me, it's not pizza if it had anything other than thin crust. For some reason any variation of thick crust renders pizza extremely unpalatable and unsavory. So long as the crust is thin the pizza is guaranteed to deliver in my book. You could top a thin crust pizza with whatever the hell you want and it will taste just as good. On the other hand, I don't care what you top a pizza with a thick crust with or how much you top it with as it will still taste bland and probably give me a stomachache.

Well, we can all agree that deep dish pizza is not a pizza as a starter. Apparently it is food seeing how it's edible, but it's not pizza. I think "pie" would be a better title for that sort of food.
Any which way. Usually I go with the flow. Whoever is ordering, I'm cool with anything. Chances are, I'm wasted eating it, so pizza is pizza.

Then don't... put both... on the same pizza? It's not like by accepting pineapple as a legitimate pizza topping that you will be forced to ingest it in every bad combination you can think of on pizza.
And I think pineapple on grilled cheese would be gross and weird, so like I said, everyone has a different palette and enjoys certain textures on certain foods.

Try it, even if just one time. Try to find pineapple slices 'in heavy syrup', those are the best.

I don't know as I live in Sweden. But I can imagine it exists somewhere in France or Italy for example.

Exactly. If deep dish "pizza" was really superior then why don't Italians make deep dish "pizza". Italians know about food, not 'muricans.

I'll tell you why, its because America takes everything and makes it x100 better!
I love deep dish pizza and medium crust is also quite good. You won't see me shy away from eating thin crust, but I'm always a tad disappointed with it.
