Back in 1998 and 1999 when I was in college, I would always notice in my dorm that other guys woud always throw away a perfectly good pizza.

Why do people do this? You waste money on buying an extra pizza and you just throw it away? especiallly at college

I've must have saved like 2 to 3 perfectly good pizzas from the dumpster in my dorm.

Why would students throw away a good pizza like that?

Either they really weren't hungry and really wanted to throw that pizza for reasons unknown, or they were just plain crazy, or both.

It helps the economy! You buy two pizzas, throw one away, the economy gets better.

It's clear that they hated America.

It is in their nature, as college students, to be destructive and wasteful

It tends to be the nature of such kinds of college students, they are usually pretty stupid to begin with then once they enter college they make cavemen look to be the smartest form of humans in existence.

i think the only safe conclusion from your detailed portrayal of this most unfortunate turn of events is that your qualification of "perfectly good pizza" is apparently open to interpretation. perhaps an inquiry with the people in question will help you get to the bottom of this or possibly even help you obtain some pizza for yourself.

How long have you been thinking about this? Is this something you just remembered or has it been something on your mind for 15 years?

I'm guessing they didn't read the 11th commandment.
