Anyone here collect things ? I like to collect a bunch of stuff like coins, books, guns, swords, etc. Love historical coins and my oldest one is probably a Julius Ceasar denarius from way back :P.

i did stuff like that for years then realized i had a house full of dust gathering crap.
i have been on a minimalist kick for the last decade.
if it's not something to eat or use on a daily basis i just don't bring it in the house anymore.
I have a bunch of silver coins (mostly American coins as well "illegal" Syrian coins and some Ottoman coins). old paper money (mostly from the 60s through 80s; and a $10 silver certificate dating back from the 1930s), and a good amount of foreign coins such as Francs, Euros, Armenian, Soviet, and etc.
Nice, my collection probably isn't as big as yours. I have quite a few ancient Romans though. Have some old Nazi coins too which are quite interesting. Also many american silvers from mid to late 1900s.I have a bunch of silver coins (mostly American coins as well "illegal" Syrian coins and some Ottoman coins). old paper money (mostly from the 60s through 80s; and a $10 silver certificate dating back from the 1930s), and a good amount of foreign coins such as Francs, Euros, Armenian, Soviet, and etc.

Out of curiousity, what are those Roman coins made out of?

I collect video games. Here's my current set up.
The early pictures aren't really consolidated because they are the most recent purchases I've made.
And here's a picture of me.
^damn, that's a pretty impressive collection.
as for myself, i collect comics and books. haven't got too much bc of financial restrictions, but i hope to keep expanding my stock so that one day i can share my collection with my loved ones--specifically, my future wife and children.
i think that's the best part of collecting something--sharing it with others.

BTW is that power strip? IF so why not get a surge protector?
Sweet game collection, arkephonic. I could have an awesome game collection too but as a kid I got in the habit of selling off my games as I beat them :(. Still have a lot of NES and N64 games though :P.

Thanks. When Gamestop came around, I literally sold every single thing I had. All my NES, SNES, Genesis, 64, Saturn, PS1, Gamecube, Xbox, PS2, Game Boy/Advance/DS, PSP stuff, just gone. Hundreds of games, many different consoles. It wasn't until a few years ago when I stopped selling, but I used to be the same way, after I played it, I'd get rid of it. Sometimes I wouldn't even play or finish the game being sold. A big reason that I started collecting was I told myself I'd never sell games away again because I realized how badly I was getting screwed in the deal (particularly with Gamestop, I know Ebay and Craigslist are good options). I wish I had all that old stuff back, but gotta learn from mistakes eventually.

Thanks. It looks like a power strip but it's actually a ****** surge protector. I live up on a mountain where weather can get pretty intense, so everything I own that plugs into an outlet goes through a surge protector.
That's pretty cool. I've got this pre-ordered:i collect figures of cool things nothing in particulate just cool stuff i come across
