Sonicare, I didn't know you were from Michigan. Yeah I got school off today because of the cold and the day before off because of MLK day. Im happy because today was supposed to be class from 10:00 AM to 9:20 PM. Hopefully get tomorrow off too so i can continue sitting around and doing nothing. Its my favorite thing to do.

I also live in Michigan and have been freezing my balls off.

Was in the negatives last night and I do believe that was BEFORE factoring in wind chill.....

Got bored during the midnight shift of my double last night and me and my coworker went outside and threw water out of bottle to see what would happen. We wanted to re-create that effect of making instant snow with water. Then I looked it up again and realized it needed to be freaking -30 out to do that and we would have to boil the water to a specific temp....

Weather just seems so unpredictable in my area. One day it will be hot, next day it will be freezing. End of the world perhaps?

Was 17 degrees in New York. The bad thing is I'm starting to lose my immunity to the cold. I need to go back to North Dakota and live in perpetual winter.

Ya, I still have this white stuff on the ground. I think they call it global warming or something.

It's -10 Farenheight here where I live in Wisconsin. Insanely cold.. I filled up gas 2 days ago without gloves and put $20 in before I had to stop because I couldn't feel my hands.

-29 Celsius reporting in.
#24 Posted by konvikt_17 (22159 posts) -

Im fairly certain that global warming is not only with hot weather.

just because its cold and still snowing means nothing.

I guess I am weak to extreme weather. This past summer was one of hotter summers and this winter also being one of the colder around here, reached 30s last week which is cold by the standards here.

People complain over nothing, I worked in -30 to -40 Weather (Celsius obviously) for 12+ hours straight without a day off for an entire month, which involved getting wet and digging trenches out of frozen solid ground with high pressured water. It's not that bad when you get used to it and are prepared, though it makes heating up your vehicle a pain in the ass.

-22 right now where I am.
