Cold War political cartoon - need ideas

For history class, we must do a Cold War cartoon, however, my current ideas are not good enough, so can someone please help by contributing an idea or opinion. Thank you.

Have two characters confront each other this is the dialouge:

AMERICA: Yeah? Well we will bomb you before you blink!

RUSSIA: Yeah, you'll be 6 feet under before you can breathe!

...

[several frames later]

...

AMERICA: Peace?

RUSSIA: Okay

AMERICA: Lol, YOU FAIL!

The end

That cartoon is made of win. 

Some very nice ideas, especially yours Rudy... however I already finished it heh, what I have is Uncle Sam playing 

chess with Khruschev, and he's in a checkmate position... looks better than it sounds though, anyways, doing so

allowed me to use a ton of symbols and carciature on 3 persons. Thanks again guys! 

Have 2 characters facing eachother, America should be holding a board in front of itself listing is powers and all that stuff.  America should be a strong figure, muscular etc.  Russia should be a weaking looking figure, but on the board, numerous things that match America should be listed.
