Sooo many bodygaurds of Konvict HaHa. Awesome :)
I love dogs but Ima have to go with cats... sure dogs are more useful and are a joy to be around an you fell their love, but they are a huge pain to take care of and require alot. Cats are so easy and cool.
i never liked cats until i got one (for free, apparently its a very expensive Persian breed). they clean themselves, they poop and pee in a litter box so you don't have to take it for a walk at 6 am in the winter, if you're nice to them they are very affectionate but not annoying like dogs jumping on you every 5 seconds. I like both but cats are less of a headache.
I'm definitely a cat person. Not having to take a cat outside in the middle of the night is a huge plus, also cats are just funny due in no small part because they are sort of evil.

Haha, they are good at barking when someone comes to the door, or if someone they dont know comes inside. but they are big wusses.
However they do unintentionally scare people. When they get excited or happy to see someone, they snarl. people think they are being mean, but thats just them smiling. Aussies are known for their "smiling". we call it The Creepy Smile.

Ha, the only problem we are still working on, is they like to jump on you.(put their front paws on you). took em a while to finally stop jumping on my niece. they still do every now and then.
They've also shown no aggression whatsoever. We got them in December, they were born in November. We started instantly just messing with their ears, mouth, tail, paws. constantly, just to get them used to it. havent been nipped at once.
They are friendly to other dogs also. We have this dog park in our area. just a big fenced in area for dogs to run around. At home, they are always play fighting. so we didnt know what to expect when we took them to the park. they did amazingly well. even with dogs much smaller than them, they were gentle.
smart dogs. house training was a breeze. have only had 2 accidents.
great dogs. they will be a year old next month.
well shit, didnt mean to ramble on :P
always was interested in having a bird as a pet. but was never an option.
we've have lots of fish growing up. lots of goldfish. a couple Betas. Those things are resilient.

Your dogs seems kinda well trained, i'm sure you have a great time with em. I told my dad once to adopt a dog, he said he can't keep in control the one he already got ( That will be me =P), is he crazy enough to get another ? I mayget a dog for missus ( Home safety ), but thats in future wen i get a missus lol.
Dogs for me. They're more of a companions. Playing with them is more fun, they more often come to get some attention, you can also do a lot more with them outside, go on long walks, jog, swim, play around outdoors, do some sort of competition, like dog sleds, agility etc. Not to mention they can defend you or your family when necessary.
I also like cats, had three till now, but I can easily go around without cats. In fact, after recent one died I got ferret and she was more fun than any cat I had before. But with dogs, I just can't imagine my home without one.

lol. really the only hard part with dogs is house training. then teaching them their boundaries. once they are house trained, you dont have to worry as much, and can mainly focus on how you want them to behave. mainly routine, routine, routine and repeat, repeat, repeat.
After raising Anna(our Shih Tzu) and then raising our Aussies, i will say, Anna was easier. its much easier to control a 12 pound dog than two 30+ pound dogs. lol.
I find it strange that nobody seems to realise that if you want you can train your dogs to pee/poop on litter just like cats (easier with female dogs, since they don't lift their leg to pee)...true, they don't it automatically like cats (cats are naturally OCD about hiding their traces) and I wouldn't want dog poop in my house but I also wouldn't want cat poop, so... *shrug*
You see, this thread has a lot of what I love about GS:
@indzman: It has my favorite handsome Indian.
@korvus: It has Gandhi.
@sukraj:@Iszdope: This absurd, nonsensical yet hilarious pair.
@ShepardCommandr: And Mr. Bed side manner.

Above all it got our master XD !!!
I like both but prefer cats. The ones I've had have such crazy and different personalities. Sheva who loved people and never hid when someone came over that she didn't know, and loved to ride in the car. Clarke who loved belly rubs (every other cat I've had bites when you pet their belly), hot wings, cornbread and grooming his "brother" Dagon. Dagon is kind of special ed and super needy. Tindalos who is determined to not be a cat and prove every vet/scientist wrong, likes bell peppers, apples, and bananas over meat, plays fetch and likes playing in water.
cat definately.
the only issue is you need neighbours who also like cats or dont mind them or live remotely. its not right to keep them in all the time but its also not fair to have them running into neighbours yards when they hate them (though why anyone would hate cats i have no idea).
there was a very cool 3 part documentary on cats on the BBC a few weeks ago. well worth a watch. that little bundle of fur really is amazing.
I also like dogs of course. i prefer bigger dogs like a german sheppard though. i think i would like to get a dog when i retire but i couldnt have a dog at the moment.
Dogs.
Cats do nothing. You can't do anything with them. And they creep me out.
If your dog is well trained, then they know their routine as in when to walk, when it's washroom time, etc.
Cat.
I'm more of a dog person I don't like cats.
You're going to hell.
oh man I didn't mean to hurt your feelings bruv.
Chill Winston...it's all good.
Just jokes.
I know you we're joking bro I'm so bored today.
