do you know of anyone who has sold/bought a car using ebay?
I want to sell my car and buy a different one, but I'm still hesitant to do it through an online auction website.
Any thoughts on this? Do you think it's safe?
Too much of a hassle?
etc?

I wouldn't do it. You're taking such a chance. I guess selling is safer than buying b/c you're getting the money before you ship, but you're just asking for trouble if you buy a car you have never seen.

Craig's List or autotrader.com would probably be easier.

If it makes you feel any better, I also considered buying a car from Ebay Motors when I was younger, but I ultimately decided against it. I agree with the guy above that suggests the Auto Trader. Either way, make sure you inspect the car personally before buying.
