^^Canker Sores/ Mouth ulcers: They cause you 24 hours a day of pure non-stop paaiiin... Can't eat, can't drink, can't talk, can't smile, can't even move my goddamned mouth (it hurts that bloody much)... Aaargh
Who else doesn't like them? I certainly don't. I hate them.

lol i had some, all i do is drink some water soak my tongue, then forse my self to endure relentless pain till my sore is inferior to my awesome tongue. But it does suck having

I'll try it. Worst thing is, mine is on my inner lip, so it constantly rubs against my teeth making it more painful and more irritated and more frustratingly bad than it already is. I've tried using special topical medication gel from the pharmacy, but all that stuff does is hurt like hell upon application (it feels like sulphuric acid, seriously), and then it doesn't do anything. So yeah, I'll try that salt water thing.
Well, Canker sores are caused if you eat foods that have acidity in them and don't have anything that balances that acidity out.I'd guess the bast way to treat a canker sore is to apply something that has basic properties. I can't think of any base that you can ingest and isn't lethal at the same time though. I'm not so sure if water would help since small amounts of water just intensify acids. Lots of water could help.
