Easily-whenever I'm in a fight I go on red alert and do all this crazy sh!t I wouldn't think I'd be able to do or in other words adrenaline takes hold.

Laihendi
Why are you ever in fights anyways?

I don't know about him, but I got into so many fights, I can't remember half their reasons. Got jumped by a bunch of dudes in middle school because one of those dudes (Whom I've never truly met before that day) accused me of calling his mom a b1tch when I continuously told him I don't know him nor his mother. Got into a few fights because some dudes kept bothering me every single day in middle school. Even got into a few fights with girls that I tried my best to avoid. In H.S. pretty much most of those fight was because people mistake me for being part of a gang since at lunch time I'd sit at tables that had nothing but gang members in them. Got jumped on a few times because of he say, she say non sense. Or people simply testing to see if I know Kung Fu/Karate because they assume I must know considering how quiet was. I managed to win most of my one on one fights (Lost coming from letting the two fights I had against girls beat me...) but getting jumped so often sucked so bad...

Yes but I'd prefer to avoid conflict if possible.

6 foor 5 inches, good condition about 260 pounds. I feel great about my chances in a fight with anyone!

Decent fitness, but still working on my stregnth. I usually carry a blade with me, but I've never had to use it.

A lover, not a biter? :P Anyway, yes I can defend myself. I'm Jul Mdama after all. :P

Don't know, is it this easy? Otherwise I've been tough the Potato Bug deffensive technique by a Shaolin Kung Fu master.

Probably not, which is why I like guns. "You got pecs? I got tecs!" Chris Rock
#59 Posted by hippiesanta (9946 posts) -
I can defend myself from any woman and chris tucker type of man or average guy playing warcraft with zits and pimple chugging beer .... but not John Cena /hulk hogan / navi seal type or I would die flat
#60 Posted by CreatureRising (1532 posts) -

I feel I could handle myself in a fight if I truly wished to harm someone. Last time I ever fought was back in middle school, knocked him out with one punch.

#61 Posted by whipassmt (14163 posts) -

I've won some and lost some.

Last physical fight I had was in high-school, 20 years ago. Since then the average male around here has become quite large in the gut, espeically those of my age. I'm quite fit, not body-building fit but what we around here call 'farm-fit', as in just busting ass doing work. I could dance circles around all the fatties, but put me up against someone decently built and I'd call it 50/50. In the end it would probably just come down to who got the better shot in.

Put me up against a body builder or kung-fu dude and I'm going to see just how fast these boots move.

br0kenrabbit

I found your post pretty funny, especially the part that I bolded.

#62 Posted by Ilovegames1992 (14221 posts) -

I'm an out of shape easily intimidated weakling.

However, 20 years of repressed anger and rage, and the natural super powers of adrenaline, unleashed onto one unfortunate could maybe see me sneak a draw. Or annoy him to the point where he messes up, giving me a chance to run away.

#63 Posted by whipassmt (14163 posts) -

I guess. I've never actually been in a fight, though I have sparred before, though it's been a while since the last time I sparred.

#64 Posted by whipassmt (14163 posts) -

No.

But I can run fast!

You know what the best sport for learning self-defense is?

No, not right now. I can barely walk straight right now. I can barely defend myself against a gust of wind.

Do you have a leg injury or something? feel free not to answer if you don't want to tell your personal business.

#68 Posted by Celldrax (14715 posts) -

I have no idea...

I have a reasonable build, and do have a bit of strength in me. I don't know any kind of self-defense though, so It'd be just a lot of dodging, and trying to get in the hardest hits possible. But I haven't had a fight in at least 10 years.

If I ever faced a guy like him, I'd piss in my pants and run like hell.... I played a lot of soccer. So, I can definitely run and keep it up for a while. If it's not the training, it's the sheer terror.

Falcon punch? Check.

Falcon kick? Check.

I think I'm good.

#73 Posted by Fightingfan (38011 posts) -
I could kill or rape the average man.
#74 Posted by WiiCubeM1 (4729 posts) -

I spend most of my time on the internet and playing video games, of course I can...

In all seriousness, yes I could. I work as a farmhand, so my endurance is already above most people I know, I grew up with 15 male cousins and a brother who, as would be expected, kicked the crap out of each other daily, and I took boxing lessons for 6 years.

I'm no master of the martial art, but I can handle myself against an untrained moron.

#75 Posted by Mink (1788 posts) -
I think I can possibly but I'd rather just flee and scream, I've had an instance where a guy was messing with me and I just slugged him and he backed off, then he wrote me this apology letter the next day. But i'm not sure how I am in a regular fight yet.

What exactly is an average human? There are males and females, tall people and short people, fat people and skinny people.

Anyway, I guess I could.

Don't know, I've only been in a few light scuffles and that was back in highschool. I'm 6'0 and 180 so I'm not tiny but definitely not built and my left upper side is weak and my arm is gimped. I think I could if I'd really have to, but I'd rather not find out.
#86 Posted by NirdBerd (2116 posts) -

I'm 5'9" and pretty skinny. I don't really know to be honest, I would most likely be taken, but I don't plead/give in/try to reason etc, ultimately I don't think I even know how to fight lol, just aim for the face, or whatever.

I've rarely if not never been put into a situation where I have to fight, probably because I mind my own business/I'm laid back/I don't look like or start trouble, except I think the last time I was in one was early last year with my older brother who was bullying me/my mum, so I had enough and we had a fight.

This can also apply to my case.

I haven't been in any major fights but considering im 6'2" 225, I'd say I would stand a good chance against the average person.
#89 Posted by m25105 (3135 posts) -
Yes.
#90 Posted by Lucky_Krystal (1730 posts) -

My physique could be likened to a beanstalk or a stripper pole. So I'd either have to use weapons or really cheap moves.

Luckily I don't go around picking fights.

#91 Posted by BossPerson (9475 posts) -

Unfortunately no.

Even though im quite tall and people would consider me a threat, but i have no muscle at all.

A 7th grader could overpower me in arm wrestling.

Its embarrasing.

If you're really embarrassed or unhappy with that a gym membership will work wonders, trust me. Not just for the strength but also self esteem. But you said you are often considered a threat, that is good. Less people starting fights you will need defense for.
#93 Posted by PiscesChick93 (10688 posts) -

Probably not. Being flicked on the arm hurts me. >_>

#94 Posted by DarthSatan (4607 posts) -

I'm not huge at 5 foot 11 185, but my Father was a judo instructor who taught me his whole life, I have about five years of kickboxing training, and I was a provincial champion wrestler in school. So yeah, I can defend myself phiscally.

#95 Posted by Ricardomz (2329 posts) -

I'm not sure, I'm a peaceful guy and I've never engaged in a fight.

#96 Posted by BluRayHiDef (10839 posts) -

I've got power, but I don't have raw strength. What I mean is that I can throw some hard hitting blows (I've punched holes into walls and have knocked down doors), but I can't lift someone up or throw them around. My tactic is to hit fast and hard, and to avoid being grabbed (especially if my opponent is bigger than I am). I'm short and light weight (5'7", ~135 LBs), so my tactic is well suited for me.

Yeah, you should do just like the name of that videogame "grab your bawls and run like hell".

My act of submission is so great that I don't get in situations where I need to defend myself physically.
