Civic. They're boring and unoriginal, but there's a reason everyone has them: they never freaking break down.

um... '98 or '02 Civic? I don't know. Check out Kijiji to see what year of car you can afford: www.kijiji.com

You can't go wrong with a Honda or Acura. Check on craigs list. You normally get a better deal than going to a dealership. Right now I personally drive a 1992 Honda Accord and it has 270,000 miles on it, and there is nothing wrong with it. It also gets about 27 or so mpg. Good luck with finding a car.

Depends on where you live. I would assume that in America insurance rates depend on the state.

Honda's always last for ages. That's why I buy Honda bikes.

For a starter car, I recommend a Vauxhall Corsa, Fiat Punto or VW Polo.

1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.

They usually sell from $2000 to $8000 if they're in good condition.

How can you say no to this?

Or this?

I second the purchase of an older camaro/mustang/trans am, yeah it might not be the newest thing on the block...but these are classics. I'm in the market for a new car at the moment myself and looked at mustangs...oddly enough I want nothing to do with the newer and superior 2005-present mustangs, but find myself still loving the 1999-2004 cars because they remind me of when I was 16 again begging my mom and dad for one.

It really depends on whats available. Look at what you like then narrow it down from there. Check the mileage in the cars and see what you can find about it's history (if you're looking online most places will tell you what's happened to it).

Keep in mind you'll be paying for insurance too. You'll want to get something and still have enough cash left over so you can actually afford the insurance bills.
